Nickname: Frankie

Age:17

Date of Birth: June 14th

Place of Birth: Chicago, Illinois

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Grade: 11th

Appearance:

Personality: Frankie is a soft hearted and friendly person. She used to believe there was good in everyone. Her soft heart gave her compassion for others, made her kind, giving, selfless, and sweet. She always considers other peoples feelings. She was the type to comfort a crying stranger or reach out a friendly hand to the outcast. She wanted to spread the love and happiness that she had in her life. Most of those charming attributes faded away after her father died. She became closed off and fearful of strangers. She stopped caring about people, it hurt too much to try to love someone again. She began isolating herself from others. But underneath her defensive shell she wants to reach out to the people around her, she's just scared. She always tried to do what was right. She had always been the type to please her parents and with a doctor for a mother she had high standards to reach.  And while she was typically sweet, she lashes out when she gets hurt. When in an argument she'll take low shots at someone. Sometimes she brings up the things she knows will hurt them. She's not one to face her fears so easily. Which is why she started isolating herself.

Casual Style:

Piercings:

Formal Wear:

Fears: Definetly claustrophobic, so much so that she can have panic attacks if she is in a small space or over crowded areas. Though most of all being buried alive is something that makes her freak out at the simple thought of it.

Hobbies:

Frankie has played piano for as long as she can remember, and she loves it. She doesn't compete, but if she did she would be one hell of a competitor. Most of her free time is spent playing on the piano. Although ever since they moved to Riverdale Frankie only ever had her keyboard to play in instead of a real piano.

Likes: She loves floral prints, basically anything flowery, and just flowers in general. In particular she loves orange roses the most. She also loves plant life of all kinds and keeps a little garden in her back yard as well as a several potted plants in her room and around the house. Up keeping her plants keeps her busy on nights when her mom works late. She is in love with summer. The bathing suits, the stress free atmosphere, the free time, the sun beating on her skin, beaches, hot sand, everything. It's always her favorite time of the year.

Dislikes: At the top of her list hate list is of course small or crowded places. Next would be bad weather. She's not a fan of rain or any kind of precipitation. The cold weather isn't too horrible, but it's far from her favorite thing. She's also not a fan of road trips or field trips or basically traveling in general. She hates the idea of being trapped in a car, bus, or plane for very long.

Crush:

Once moved in and settled in Riverdale Frankie developed a crush on one of her fellow classmates, Donnie Hawkins.

Friends: She is friends with Betty, they became friends after Betty gave Frankie the school tour, they just seemed to click. She's never really had the chance of getting to know Veronica except for the ever so often run in with her or hanging out with her in a group. Her and Cheryl get along though no one would go as far as to call them friends. Cheryl only seems to like her because of her hair color. As for the others, she gets along well with most anyone around her.

Enemies: There aren't really any people she would label as an enemy really. She's just not that kind of person. Though she is not a fan of bullies and will stand up to those people if she feels its necessary.

Siblings: Frankie was born an only child and didn't really get a chance to have siblings. Her mother considered adoption, but all in all Frankie ended up growing up as an only child.

Parents: Amanda Baker is one of the the town's very own doctors. She mostly works with children, considering she's a Pediatrician. It's a strenuos job, but it pays the bills. As for Frankie's father, George Baker, he was a teacher. He was well loved by all his students and coworkers before his tragic death.

Pets:

Considering how much Mrs.Baker works she thought it would be good for Frankie to have a protective guard dog of sorts for those long nights that Frankie's alone. Thus it was decided. Mrs.Baker brought home Ares, a German Shepherd, and he was trained to attack on command. He became Frankie's protective buddy. Though he's mostly just a buddy to cuddle up with on lonely nights.

Other: Frankie's claustrophobia can at times be crippling, so much so that she's on a medication for it and is required to attend weekly therapy. It's been a problem in the past but with new methods Mrs.Baker hopes that it will become a childhood struggle and won't follow Frankie for her whole life. Because of Frankie's claustrophobia she prefers riding a bike around town rather than driving a car. In fact she hasn't learned to drive because of her claustrophobia.

Backstory: Francine Emily Baker was born in the great busy city of Chicago. She grew up there for most of her life. In her early childhood her mom was always busy trying to finish her medical degree so Frankie spent a lot of time with her father. As she got older Frankie's dad decided to get a job as a teacher at one of the many high schools in Chicago. The family had their rough spots, but for the most part they were happy. Frankie practically had the picture perfect life, up until her father was shot. No one saw it coming. It was a school shooting, or more correctly put, a gang war. Dozens were injured or killed during all the chaos. It all started outside during one of the Physical Education classes. After all that when the majority of the students were outside. A couple of the gangs just started arguing but it escalated when one pulled a knife, then another kid pulled a gun. It all went down hill from there. People got caught in the cross hairs of the gang war. Frankie was locked in a class room when the whole thing happened, she didn't see any of it. She just heard the screams. Her father on the other hand was in the thick of it. He tried breaking it up, even tried talking to some of the kids, but in the end Mr.Baker died protecting the lives of some of the other students. It was a hard loss for the Baker's small family. As a result of his death Mrs.Baker became a workaholic and hardly ever home. She didn't want to the face reality that her husband was gone. It was easier to work than to deal with the pain. Thus Frankie spent extensive amounts of time alone until she got Ares.  The dog practically saved her from falling into depression, though she definitely wasn't the same anymore. Frankie became drawn back. She started isolating herself and distancing herself from people, even from her mom. Mrs.Baker just couldn't handle city life after just a few months after her husbands death. She wanted a small safe quiet town, and so she moved to Riverdale with Frankie in search of a quiet life. It seemed like the perfect solution. For a while Riverdale seemed to ease the tension of both mother and daughter. Unfortunately, come to find out Riverdale was not as safe and wholesome as she had hoped. The town was dealing with a tragic death of a high school student shot by his own father. Mrs. Baker began to question whether she and her daughter should stay in Riverdale. In the end Mrs. Baker decided to stay. Frankie seemed to open up more ever since they moved. She was making friends and seemed happier. Mrs.Baker didn't want to take that away from her, especially after she had seen her daughter so isolated before. Then there was her job to consider. Riverdale didn't have anyone who specialized in pediatrics. Sure they had a general practitioner, but they were in need of a pediatrician. It only seemed right to stay and not leave the little town in need. So despite the dangers the Bakers became permanent residents of Riverdale.
