Mentor: His father, Clint Barton, has done most of the mentoring. When Nathan was fifteen Clint let his start training with S.H.I.E.L.D, which definitely pushed Nathan but it strengthened him all the more. He's also been trained a bit by Black Widow when she came to visit the family.

Family: Clint Barton and Laura Barton have three kids, Nathan, Cooper, and Lila.

Personality: Nathan Barton lives for the thrill of adventure. In other words, he's a adrenaline junkie. He enjoys himself most when under extreme pressure, danger, and the thrill of having to fighting for his very life. He could never see himself settling in a quiet life. The idea of it bores him. Because of his adrenaline addiction he is often impulsive and jumps into action before having a plan. His impulsive drive often has gotten him into trouble, but he always preformed best when on edge. He's a big risk taker which at times benefits him, but can also cost him a lot. He's not afraid of the risk, even if it means loosing everything. Like his father, Nathan has a very independent nature and leadership type qualities. He doesn't like sitting back and being given orders. He often has his own opinions on how a mission should go and often voices those opinions, loudly. His independence, however, gets him in trouble with his authorities, because often times he strays from his orders to do what he thinks is best. This where his pride comes into play. Sometimes he has too much of it, he thinks he's knows best when he doesn't. He also hates admitting when he's wrong and hardly ever actually admits his faults. He's also quite hardheaded and stubborn. These qualities only intensify his need for independence and leadership. But his stubbornness plays a big role in loyalty. He may not always follow orders, but at the end of the day he'd never change teams even if his team is the loosing one. He'd die for those he commits himself to.

Quirks: Nathan has this thing for jean jackets. Back home he has a whole little collection of them. Anytime he's off duty or in casual wear, he always wearing one of those jackets. He also snorts when he laughs. His siblings always poked fun when he was younger, and he hated it. However, the snorting never stop and still to this day snorts when he laughs.

Likes: Nathan enjoys warm weather most, summer time especially. He finds that hot weather is just all around more fun. Along with hot weather Nathan enjoys hot and spicy foods, especially spicy foreign foods. As said before Nathan is a thrill seeker and absolutely loves rollercoasters and other such thrill filled amusement parks.

Dislikes: Nathan hates being undermined or talked down to. Being the independent go getter that he is, such talk or attitudes towards him really dig under his skin. He also hates being compared to others, especially his family members. In his mind comparison is a waste of time, people are too diverse to fairly be "compared".

Strengths: Aside from his need to lead, Nathan actually does a fair job of it. As a kid he was always the leader of his sports team and always knew how to get the team to work together for the win. He's good at giving orders in a way that doesn't make it seem like he's ordering people around. Even though he's the youngest of his siblings, he always had the strongest leadership qualities.

Casual Wear:

Powers: Nathan doesn't have any, he's just a regular highly trained operative.

Abilities: While Nathan is simply human, he has acquired several skills and abilities through his training. For one his precision in archery is parallel to his fathers. Secondly he has had extensive hand to hand combat training in a variety of fighting techniques, he's no master of the martial arts but he can definitely defend himself in a fight.

Weapons: Nathan, like his father, is a talented archer and has a collapsible, double recurve bow with special trick arrows.

Weakness: As said before Nathan is just your regular day to day guy who is highly trained in archery and hand to hand combat. Like anyone else his bones break, he bleeds when cut, and can die just like anyone else.

Backstory: Nathan was the third born child to Clint Barton and Laura Barton. His childhood was a happy one. His older siblings often picked on him but he eventually learned how to fight back. While the siblings had their squabbles in the end they always had each other's backs. Now being the offspring of a superhero wasn't exactly easy. The three kids often missed their father, but as time went on they wanted to be like their father. Each one of them grew up wanting to be a hero. Cooper, Nathan's older brother, joined the navy right after graduation. It was his contribution to society, his idea of being heroic. As for Nathan's older sister she wanted to follow her father's footsteps a little more literally. She started archery young, and was good at it too. Naturally, Nathan wanted the same thing. He trained just as hard and was just as good as his sister, even if he was several years younger. So for a short time Nathan and his sister Lila grained side by side. They worked well together too, they were a crime fighting duo, at least theoretically. Clint forbid them from actually going on missions until he deemed them old enough. Eventually Lila found that she wanted to do more than just train. Since most of their training took place at S.H.I.E.L.D. they had a few connections. Lila ended up landing an actual job with them as a real agent, of course by then she was legally old enough. That left Nathan alone. Apart of him felt abandoned by his sister, yet at the same time he knew he couldn't hold her back. So he was left with some pretty big shoes to fill all on his own. But it wasn't as if he was afraid of the challenge. He started training even harder, pushing himself to the limit time and time again. But all that work came to a crashing vault when he and the rest of his family apart from Clint were snapped away by Thanos. It wasn't until five years later that they actually returned. In their absence so much had seemed to change. But now there was a whole world in need of new heroes, and Nathan was one of the few to step up.

Other: Nathan is not one to get all emotional with people. In fact he feels awkward in small groups or one on one conversations. He prefers big crowds or even solitude over being alone with someone.
