Mentor: His father mostly, but Arthur trains his boy just like any other soldier of the sea. This also means that Sam has been trained by his fathers most trusted generals and has even on many occasions gone to battle under authority of said generals.

Family: Arthur Curry (father), Mera Curry (mother), and Alexandria Curry (baby sister).

Significant Other: None, luckily or at least in his mind what seems to be luck. Despite the efforts of the Ataltian High counsil Sam had avoided marriage.

Crush: No one in particular. Sam keeps his focused else where and often doesn't find time for falling for someone.

Personality: Exuberant, protective over mostly his baby sister but also for Atlantis and the ocean as a whole, overly confident, has been known to joke around but is more often serious in battle, expressive, loud, not afriad to say what he thinks, not to be taken as a joke, he is definitely not someone who should ever be under estimated, a force to be reckoned with, can be friendly when the time calls for it, loyal to those who are deserving of loyalty, respectful to those who have earned respect, disciplined, eager to please his father, hard working, dedicated, courageous, brave, daring, forceful, decisive, can take the lead when the time calls for it, can get very passionate, can be pretty self righteous, likes to show off whenever he gets the chance, and self-critical especially when it come to his father's expectations of him.

Casual Wear:

Powers: He can breathe underwater, swim attremendous speeds, and telepathically communicate with sea life, he is able to withstand ocean depths, superhuman strength, enhanced senses, and nearly impenetrable skin. These powers are just like any of their powers of an Atlantian. Though there is a certain ability shared only by he and his father that is an ability which is granted only to the Kings of Atlantis and that is the power to speak (aka control) the ocean. They can create large waves, manage the most difficult of tides, and tame hurricanes and tsunamis.

Abilities: He was trained from childhood in countless Ataltian fighting techniques that he has come to master over the years.

Weapons: He, like his father, often uses a trident.

Supersuit:

Weakness: He can be pierced with Atlantian metal and other alien metals. He is also susceptible to plasma blasts and other such fire power.

Backstory: He is the firstborn son of The King of Atlantis. Naturally he has had countless expectations to live up to since birth and quite big shoes left to fill. He never had much room for failure. Despite this, his father was sure to instill confidence and strength into his son. He made sure that as time went on the pressure to be King would not weigh so heavily on Sam, but rather that Sam would have the strength to bear the mantle. Thus ever since he was a child he was conditioned to someday rule Atlantis in place of his father. For much of his young life he never could gain control over the waves like his father. This caused rumors to bubble up in Atlantis. Was Sam really meant to be King if he did not share the royal trait? Maybe someone else was meant to be King and was blessed with the royal trait. So for years Sam had to work three times as hard as any of the other Atlains to get any sort of approval from his people. Life was never easy being doubted at every obstacle, but it could have been worse. Though he never could really earn the trust of his people. Even after fighting in their wars and having been groomed to be King after all this years many still held doubt in their hearts. Through the course of time Sam fought as any other Atlatian soldier would. He never gave up on his people despite their distrust in him. With his ever busy life in Atlantis he had limited contact to the surface of the world. Though finally after years of training,his father thought is would be good for Sam to follow his footsteps in the Justice League as well. After all one day the senior members would eventually be gone and a new generation would have to lead the League. Thus Sam joined the upcoming new team that would be a new a fresh team for the Leauge. Sam got a chance to prove himself in a place that held no other bias on him, no expectations he was fired to live up to. He actually secretly enjoyed living in the world away from Atlantis for the short times he was gone. It was about that time that Mera was with child again and in time have birth to the second heir to the throne, Alexzandria. Though at such a young age she wasnt likely to inherit anything before her older brother. And for the time being she was just a small child. Though upon her birth Sam dropped everything in the surface world and returned home. He spent a great deal of time back in Atlantis to connect with his new sibling. With his return he found favor with some of his people, a trust from them that he had never known before. Yet at the same time there were others that had come to despise him.

Extra: Sam keeps his fondness for human cuisine, namely pizza, a secret. After all he doesn't want to look weak in the eyes of his people. Other than that he was never too taken by human culture, yet he still feels the need to protect and fight for the just causes of those that live on the surface.

When he is on the surface he has a tendency to promote eco friendly causes. After all the ocean is his home and it really ticks him off to see the surface people throw their garbage there. He is always raising awareness about the ocean and can be caught at rallies and protests if he's not careful to keep on the down low.
