Crush: Jake had and still has a big time crush on Anathea since the day he met her. It was so obvious the guys often teased him for it.

Personality: Jake is obnoxiously optimistic, he always manages to find a silver lining even in the darkest situations. He always seems to have something nice to say, even to the worst of people. Many are baffled by his sense of positivity, especially considering how much horror he has seen. But Jake refuses to give up his views. But he isn't completely blinded by his beliefs and he has his limits. Some people are past redemption, some being are completely depraved. He also care very deeply for others. He makes friends easily and after being friends for so long he considers those friends as family. One would think that nothing could bring him down, but he has his moments. There are somethings in the world that can bring him down. Aside from his baffling positivity he pretty down to earth. He's incredibly humble for what he's accomplished. He's also in credibly brave. He has his fears, yet he presses through them. But just like everyone else he's got his dark side. He has a tendency to bottle everything up. He never shares his honest feelings and shoulders everything. If something were to go wrong on a mission he'd blame himself. Honesty isn't something he's good at. One would think he's as honest as they come but he's not. He hides things and usually claims to do it in the name of protecting the feelings of others.

Powers: His powers all come from the ring and will power. The ring has the ability to affect and use fundamental forces of the known universe, including electromagnetic energies such as gravity, radiation, heat, light, and powerful blasts of concussive force. The ring also includes powers of energy projection, force fields, energy construct creation, flight, and wormholes. The ring is also a universal translator allowing the wearer to communicate with anyone. In times of crisis the ring can act as an emergency beacon.

Abilities: Aside from the ring Jake has some talents. In his free times he can be found playing guitar and writing music. He's really good at it too. He's written a couple of really good songs. He's got a really good voice to go along with it.

Weapons: In a manner of speaking the ring is a weapon, but Jake would never say it was. To him it is more of a tool.

Weakness: Jake is human. If caught off guard or with out his ring he's just as vulnerable as any other civilian. As for the ring, it has its limits. The potential of the ring is determined by the will power of its user, which affects the intensity of powers, the volume of created objects, etc. The user must focus to keep all effects in use.

Backstory: Jake grew up relatively like any other kid. His dad was gone a lot, supposedly because of work. Hal felt It best to let his kids grow up without knowing the burden of the truth. He wanted his kids to have some sense of normalcy in their lives. For a long time Jake never questioned it, neither did his sisters. That is until Jake got to the curious age of ten. His dad was home for once, and he and his wife went on a much needed date leaving the kids alone. It wasn't unusual for the kids to be home alone and nothing was out of the ordinary, except Hal left his Power Ring home. Carol made him. She wanted one night to actually enjoy being with him, without any interruptions by the ring. Well the night didn't go exactly how she envisioned. Jake has snooped around his parents room looking for answers to the disappearances of his father. Instead of answers he thought he'd find, he found the ring. Being a clueless and reckless ten year old he put the ring on. What happened next baffled everyone, including the Guardians of Oa. The ten year old Jake Jordan was able to wield the power of the ring, fueled by his own will power. He of course had no idea what he was doing and accidentally transported himself halfway across the galaxy in the process. Long story short, The Justice League got involved and Jake was escorted back home and the ring was taken from him. Hal explained everything to his children after that hoping they could avoid a repeat of Jake's incident. But that incident sparked Jakes training. After several years of basic training by in father in the ways of discipline he joined the Green Lantern Corps. He was one of the youngest to ever join at the age of 16. For two years he has spent serving in the Green Lantern Corps alongside his father and fellow Green Lanterns. In that tone he strives to join the Justice league, but was not allowed admittance until he completed the trail program.

Extra: Jake has the worst eyesight. With out his glasses he's practically as blind as a bat. Luckily when the ring is in use it temporarily fixes his eyesight thus he is able to leave his glasses behind when on a mission.

Jake is one of the youngest to join the Green Lantern Corps. His incident at ten proved he had immense will power. The Guardians of Oa could not deny the boy. They viewed him as a great contender in the fight for intergalactic justice. Jake considers his ring a great honor and cherished it above all else. Ever since he put the ring on he has yet to take it off.
