Eloise is as about as pure as they come, for all intents and purposes. I mean, what else was to be expected from the preacher's only baby girl? With a natural zest for life and the vim and vigor of those half her own age, it was no surprise that little Ellie became a crowd favorite in her small town rather quickly. It also didn't hurt that her town was rather religious, but that was beside the point. A smile never left her lips and a curse never dropped from her tongue, as was just her genuine nature. She was a God-fearing Christian woman like her Papa taught her to be, which meant judgment of any kind towards others was out of sight before it even came into view. Plus, being anything but friendly left the most unpleasant feeling under Ellie's skin, so she chose to be kind more times than she chose to be vindictive.

Truly, Eloise wouldn't even think of harming a fly, much less another human being. She'd been both commended and harped upon for her sweet naivety, wary friends and family heralding the day that someone would use prim and proper little Ellie for their own nefarious purposes while others praised her for seeing the good in nearly every person she laid eyes on. Eloise did genuinely believe in such a childish mindset, no matter how much smack she got for it down the line. If someone was gonna turn out to be bad, they'd do so in due time. The world was black and white in this hopeful girl's eyes, with the light always conquering the dark in the end. Not that she wanted any fights to break out on account of her straightforward way of thinking. Pacifist to the end, if that wasn't already obvious, Eloise had a knack for diffusing situations with her overall calming disposition and sunny aura. Her soft little heart just couldn't bear to see people squabble over what was usually inconsequential matters, so she was usually one to step in and initiate peaceful conversation. Yes, this had gotten her decked more times than she'd cared to admit, but with a black belt in Judo and Karate respectively, she could take a few hits in stride. Her impulses would have it no other way, sadly. That didn't account for the fact that Ellie could be quite the softie in such situations, usually dissolving into a fit of tears when her negotiations fail to calm the people in question. Or when things didn't exactly pan out how she planned. She could be quite the crybaby and control freak when pushed hard enough, which was nearly impossible to do so with how patient Eloise had grown over the years. This, in turn, would anger everyone Eloise had a good relation with, which didn't end well for anyone involved, to put it bluntly.

Empathy and romanticism didn't exactly pay the bills though, as sad as that may be. Fortunately, Eloise had always been quite good with animals since she was small. One could find Eloise happily chatting with a Dalmatian or hashing it out with an Abssynian and think her a mad woman, but everyone just thought that was Eloise being her quirky self, nothing more or less. A small town didn't exactly offer many opportunities for Eloise's adventurous spirit and outgoing persona, so it didn't shock anyone that Ellie conversed with the rare animal or two. Nobody suspected that Ellie could actually understand the animals, simply writing it off as her passion and leaving her be, just as she wanted to be. As open as Eloise was with others, the girl had some secrets held deep within her very soul, things she would never even reveal to herself. Like, what happens when Ellie truly gets angry? Had anyone ever seen Eloise angry?? Sure, she could hold grudges like no one's business and dish out the cold shoulder, but what happened when someone worked Eloise to her breaking point??? Perhaps all this happiness was a front for something darker...maybe even sinister. Not that Eloise would ever let on to something so awful. Her dirty laundry was hers and hers alone to deal with.

Eloise Mariella Bryant was born the only daughter to an established pair of preachers, a Mr. and Mrs. Bryant who had devoutly dedicated their lives to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She never wanted for much of anything growing in such a household, with both parents working from home most of the time and wracking in enough income to spoil their two precious children as was humanly possible. Eloise was their little princess, never the one to cause a ruckus like her brother but much more content to tug at the family dog's ears contently. She did always have a passion for animals.

Growing up around others wasn't all too difficult either, seeing as Ellie had always been the more outgoing of the Bryant siblings. She was the one invited to sleepovers, birthday parties, and everything in between while her brother remained more on the reserved side. Not the Ellie minded much, as long as Josiah didn't isolate himself too much from the world. School was a breeze for this smart cookie, who excelled in her classes with the intents of becoming a Veterinarian someday. Her friends were plentiful and kind, and collisions with the meaner side of the spectrum were kept to a minimum thanks to Josiah's intimidating frame and Ellie's overall sweetness that made people hesitate when trying to pester her. She was just trying to live her life and make people happy, so who was she really harming?

Currently, Ellie is studying to become a Veterinarian in college, while simultaneously working part-time at the Veterinary Clinic in her town. Sadly, the bustle of her town soon got to be too claustrophobic for Eloise's wanderlust, and she skipped town for an adventure.
