+ Their alias is the scientific name for a bat.

Age: 17

Gender: Androgynous. I'll get into that soon. (Be warned, although they use they/them pronouns, I may get confused everyone once in awhile and call them a he. Sorry about that.)

Sexuality: I don't know whether to call them homosexual or not, so I'll just say... Likes humans of the male (physically or identifying as such) gender.

Personality:

Kermit is the very definition of timid and isolated. They fear social interaction. They dread the outdoors, although they cannot see it anymore*. They would much rather stay inside and draw as best as they can what they wish they could experience again. Kermit is normally weighed down by anxiety. They are the most paranoid of people and jump at every slight noise.

Although they are a very sweet and gentle person, not to mention solicitous and compassionate, they will take care of themselves first, no matter the situation. They can be considered selfish, or even greedy, keeping everything they own to themself and themself only. The only thing that Kermit truly shares is understanding. They are the shoulder you cry on, or the pillow that you scream your thoughts into at night.

A few of the many words that can be used to describe Kermit include regretful and indecisive. Advice is not their forte; they say it themselves to those who ask them what he/she should do. Along with this is the heavy regret they carry upon their back. Putting it simply, Kermit has made many bad decisions in life. One of them incorporates choosing to be a part of the SH program. (I'll elaborate later on in the form.) They will dwell on these choices,- often for forever- no matter the situation, nor the time between the events.

They aren't very witful, having chosen creativity and fun over education and reading throughout their life. Kermit may make stupid comments or otherwise state the obvious. They back down easily from arguments and tend to become much more quiet around other people. However, they have an imagination that could take on an army, and often devote these thoughts to the person they feel they can trust most to write them down.

+ They used to be much more forward and less dreamy. Those who knew them before the procedure refused to believe that they were still the same being.

Appearance: (Will have scars on either back, chest, or stomach from testing, depending on how many times they went through the procedure.)

A pale creature with dark hair and a blank gaze. Kermit is of a very small stature and being. Washed out freckles splatter their once rosy cheeks, along with most of their body. Their eyes, although large and doe-like, not to mention having been a beautiful green before his procedure, hold no life or sense of acknowledgement anymore. To the naked eye, their entire existence seems to be faded and of no color or energy.

They have bound his chest since age eleven when a doctor attempted to 'make them more feminine'. They were born with both male and female genitalia (pseudohermaphrodites or intersex), and they weren't growing breasts. By the time the doctor decide to 'fix the mistake', Kermit had already grown up identifying as a male, as their mind had told them to feel. The experience left them self-conscious, perplexed, and believing that they were nothing but an 'it' for a long time.

A long and thin scar resides along his throat where his vocal cords were altered to give him his ability to perform a Sonic Scream. It is the most prominent of the scars that criss-cross his neck. In an attempt to give him enhanced eyesight, a thick scar parts his wavy hair at the back of his head. The procedure had failed, leaving him blind. Hurrying to throw the mistake aside with another power, they tried several times to alter his voice box and give him proper echolocation abilities. After a while of endeavoring to complete the operation, it was finally a trauma-inducing success.

Usually wears sunglasses. Not to mention, their clothes' colors and choice usually look horrible. 

Powers:

- Sound absorption (cloth, etc.) renders direct use useless.

-May not work against or Sound Immunity or Sound Nullification.

- May not have hearing or vocal protection, making use of this ability painful.

- Flow of sound waves often natural often causing accidental destruction to nearby objects.

- May cause unintentional harm to distant targets, including beings with sensitive/enhanced/superhuman hearing.

- Sound/sonic waves can be reflected off certain objects, like mirrors.

- Rendered utterly useless when the user is gagged by any means. '

Along with this, by using their Sonic Scream, if the amplitude is not controlled correctly, they can rupture or disintegrate the organs of themselves and others. Doesn't that sound fun?

'Users emit calls out to the environment and listen to the of those calls that return from various objects near them, and use these echoes to locate and identify the objects. Alternately, they can use ambient sounds do the same. Since this ability isn't based on sight/light, invisibility is useless against it, as are most forms of camouflage.'

- They have very sensitive ears, especially from being blind. Whenever they use this ability (even talking is using it), their ears usually begin to ring painfully if they don't speak in an extremely soft voice.

- Sound bounces off of mirrors and walls, often making it difficult for them to identify the situation.

- Inaudibility (the ability to make yourself inaudible [i.e. footsteps, entire being, etc..] negates this power completely.

- Can be overloaded if there are too many sensory impressions.

- Usually gives Kermit bad migraines to even speak.

Backstory:
Kermit grew up in a fairly normal family. They lived a bland childhood, were anxiety-packed within middle school, and even more stressed in high school. Their entire life, they desired more. They wanted fame. They wanted success. They wanted recognition for whom they were going to be. That was when the SH program came into play. So, they signed up, and here they are now, regretting everything they ever thought.

Fun Facts:
+ They have had three boyfriends, all of which had blonde hair and blue eyes. They used to only date such. Now, they can't even tell.
