Franke
Name: Franke Fremont
Nickname(s):
- Frankie, Franky; however you spell it.
- Sometimes, he is simply referred to as 'The Fremont Son'.
- Francy (you're welcome)
Kingdom/Ethnicity: France
Age: 18
Gender: Male
*Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance:
Franke is a rather slender gentleman with graceful limbs and a certain aptitude at ballroom dancing. Standing at nearly six and a half feet, he is definitely much taller than his mother. He could be considered a renaissance man, with his skin fairly golden from many years outside (although he may not look like the type, Franke loves journeys in the outdoors), and limbs toned from restless work. His hair is long and rather dark, although it holds reddish-brown hues underneath, and is almost always brushed back away from his eyes. His hairstyle could be described in modern times as something someone would see when one has their hair gelled back, but has stood in front of a very powerful fan for a few hours. And no, Franke would not use hair product even if he could. His hair has naturally taken that shape, and his father really can't figure out why. Quite small grayish-blue eyes certainly help brighten up that awkward smile of his.
(Hmu with that outfit.)
Personality:
Franke could be described as either having the intense stare of an Ancient Greek when one has invaded his territory, or drifting through an eternal dream whither kingdoms nor farmland exists. Although both of those statements are correct in their own ways, Franke is more of a down-to-Earth kind of guy, although fairly quiet as well, usually taking the observant and predictive route than the brash and ignorant stance. He goes by the saying, "If you want it done well, you should do it yourself," and firmly keeps his words of indecency to himself whenever one tries to tell him otherwise. Being brought up as he was with a strict family and no siblings to banter with, he was the one that was destined to take the crown once his father's time was up. It is for that reason that Franke keeps his speech filter to only of which is of uttermost importance, and has learned the logic that he has strung himself high with from a young age. He is a learned man and most likely could tough through the worst of situations. However; the factor that would make Franke more of a tragic hero, or lack thereof, is his excessive personal pride— or, Hubris. Overall, this French prince can be considered quite applicable for a well-rounded princess, if she can manage to get past his occasional boasting and perfectionism and sense his tough sense of morals.
Flaws:
- Franke is very proud. Very, very proud. He is so proud, in fact, that the words of Aristotle himself could claim Franke to soon become a tragic hero. His Hubris will make him throw the words of everyone else to the side (although he will acknowledge the words, just not acclaim to them). In dire situations, he will listen only to himself, and definitely not others. This goes along with his over-confidence.
- Franke cares for others, but he will always tell them that they are doing something wrong, even if what they are doing is absolutely correct.
- His morals are okay, but they are very strict, especially to others. As aforementioned, if he does not approve of what his surrounding companions are doing, he will stop them— immediately, and efficiently.
- He can be considered conceited. He loves his appearance, even his odd smile; and no one will tell him otherwise.
- He is a perfectionist, hence the "I must do everything myself, and do it a million times until it is perfect" attitude. When he doesn't have the time to make something just the way he wants it, Franke will be upset for hours.
- He isn't a very sensitive person. Although he will pat a crying soul on the back, and maybe offer a few apologies, he really won't understand what they are feeling and why they are feeling it.
*Strengths:
- He is logical, and of course very tactical.
- He has a wonderful sense of direction, thankfully.
- He has a certain way with horses.
- Franke is an educated man,— he can read and write just fine in scrawl, thank you very much— and is also skilled in many different areas. His main attributes are horseback riding, developing plans and ideas, and oddly enough, writing news reports to his father every morning.
*Passions:
+ His apparent passion is education. Franke wants to become the most well-rounded and learned person in the world, and then go around like some kind of nomad to share his teachings. Sure, his father would call him a disgrace to the family. But that would be if his father was even alive, and besides, Franke will chase his dreams even if his morals and intuition fight against it.
+ His second passion would be teaching, actually. Behind his back, Franke is often called the bank of useless information. To him, however, no information is useless. Franke is very quiet as well, usually staying in the shadows to observe; one of the few reasons why he would ever talk is to prove a point. Another reason is to call someone out for being wrong/an idiot. It isn't often that you would imagine Franke talking to a large group of people and reporting his journeys and wiseman words.
Theme Song: Life on Mars? - David Bowie
Quote:
- "Were you supposed to do it? Oh, perhaps I should take over..." [common quote]
- "Perhaps someday, but definitely not today."
*Other:
+ He has that heavy French accent.
+ He loves to daydream, actually.
+ He has a noble steed named Hurrdle. (Don't ask. He was nearly eight.)
I hope I didn't forget anything.
