PERSONALITY

Lana carries herself well; a woman of grace, skill and intelligence, she is self-confident and within the gang it's clear to see. In front of her group, Lana holds the highest authority and it's obvious as soon as she walks into the room: the way she talks, the way she walks and the way she commands respect. When she speaks, everybody listens; for both the fear of consequences of interruption and also for an uncontrollable urge to hear her voice, smooth as silk but deep as a purr.

A true leader, like herself, treats each member of the team as an important individual. She trains each of them in a their respective roles because she cares enough about them to want them to improve. But this attitude is usually displayed through tough love and guidance; Lana will not go easy on anyone but she will make sure that everyone reaches their highest potential and capabilities.

Lana is usually blunt and straight to the point; she wont beat around to bush to create any sort of build up. She'll come in, say what she has to say and leave, discussions kept to a minimum. Lana won't hide her thoughts when it comes to a heist or plan and she will say exactly what she thinks. The woman is no-nonsense, sarcasm is not something she uses nor appreciates, considering it cheap humour. All this seriousness adds to her tough-love and untouchable demeanour. She will, however, hide the truth when it concerns the safety of her team and of the success of an operation/heist. And of course, she has always lied about her identity from day 1, not risking divulging such information when she is involved in such a field. The other members know that Lana considers her private life exactly that, private. Her background, family and personal tastes and information are unknown even to them.

Usually, Lana is the organisational brains of every plan. Ever since she became the leader, she rarely took part in the dirty work, having such a large team to rely on. However, she would never assign a task to someone that she herself wouldn't be comfortable with. Lana has never forgotten the things she did to get up so high on the ladder and will take on any task if needed. Until such a need arises, Lana will continue to make the most of the gang members and their skills.

BACKSTORY

Svetlana is the eldest daughter of immigrants, a sister to four other siblings. Being the eldest, Lana lived in Russia until she was 7 and her mother gave birth to her first sibling once they moved to Parrishville. The large age gap meant that Lana felt like more of a mother to them, especially the youngest siblings. Her mother was a hardworking housewife while her father had a job in construction. But this wasn't enough to provide bread for the large family of 7 and so at the earliest age possible, Lana got a job in a restaurant, albeit low-paying.

But the restaurant was probably as shady as it gets. Run by a gang, it was dangerous for a young girl such as herself to be working around such intimidating and ruthless folk. But seeing all the dodgy activities that ran at the back, seeing the money, Lana found that it may have been an upgrade from her current pay as a server. She begged the gang to let her join and to get a cut of the money and, after enough persistence and also rowdy laughter, they took her in. They trained her to become the leader she is today
