A door creaked open as a red gem stepped into the room, she let out a tired sigh as she closed it and turned the lights on. She locked the door as she went to look into the mirror, her body glistening in the bright lights. Ruby stared at her reflection trying to find my imperfections before she saw a small scratch on her head, she quickly covered it with her hand as she began to worry. "I better get this removed before Ms.Collie gets upset.." she murmured as she got out some polish and began to apply it to the scratch, her eyes wincing slightly as the paste was rubbed into her wound. She continued until it looked as normal, shiny and glossy. She looked at an old picture cropped on the vanity, her and a blue gem.. she winced again as she turned it the other way. She used a cleanser to clean her face off before she changed into some more comfy and baggy pjs and napped.
