 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 

Nightpaw is a slim, lean she cat with a pelt consisting of multiple colors. Her fur is mainly black, with a softer ginger color that possesses faint tabby stripes mixed in throughout her body - with the most notable spot being the two on her forehead, just over either of her eyes. There are also gray tones in similarly small patches, a subtle shift in darks and lights. Throughout this various dappling of colors is white, which starts at her neck and does down to her underbelly - giving her a white underside.

She has large triangular ears with matching fur tufts at the ends, and large paws that suggests she'll be bigger once she's older. Her eyes are a vibrant shade of amber, and she has a few scars from training.

Nightpaw had always been seen as somewhat unapproachable due to her intense nature which exceeds that of your average apprentice. She's very focused and goal driven, with the intention of being the best warrior that she can be in memory of her father. She's filled with the innate desire to prove herself, which has formed the somewhat strict persona that she's known for.

Nightpaw has a tendency to be serious, finding it necessary to be mature and show her 'best side'; believing that it's what garners respect. As such she's a bit of a stick in the mud who can be awkward when it comes to playing and having fun - usually avoiding it altogether.

However, there is more to her then what meets the eye. She is witty, though with a dry humor that can make it difficult to decide if it's intentional or not. Of course if pointed out she'll deny it - though it can be apparent the closer she is to someone.

She's also fairly supportive, as well as protective. Her own parents past have made it so that she's not judgmental of other cats pasts as she prefers to see things from another's point of view. This patience and understanding makes her perceptive, and in turn more welcoming even if she's not the best at showing it. Of course, this is entirely dependent on the situation - as sometimes cats don't deserve a second chance.

Nightpaw enjoys training, as getting moves down and learning something new is incredibly satisfying for her. Her favorite prey is squirrel and she happens to like high up places or nighttime, finding them both to be relaxing.

𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒

She finds herself not suited for things like playing, finding herself a bit too awkward to let go and simply have fun. She dislikes the idea of getting wet, or sudden situations since she can't plan or prepare for them.

𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 

Cherryblaze - a loving and attentive mother who had a bit of a stubborn streak. Despite that she still had good relationships within the clan, including her children who she loved dearly. Nightpaw loves her mom, and will often go to her for advice. She always feels less like a serious apprentice and more like herself when with her mom.

𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 

Hawksight - A strong, fierce cat who was formerly a rouge. Looked upon unfavorably by the clan - Hawksight was still an excellent warrior. He inspired Nightpaw to become just like him, and they bond through training together. She misses him dearly.

𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒

Pitchpaw - A funky, mischievous cat who has his mother's temper. He can be a bit annoying and likes to tease his sisters, though Nightpaw is still close with him. They make quite the duo, their differing personalities quite amusing even though they mesh well.

Lilypaw - A very witty and sarcastic cat who can come off as rude and a bit arrogant. It takes a strong willed cat to understand her, and Nightpaw does so with ease, probably because she's a bit difficult to understand herself. They have alot of inside jokes and can be an intimidating duo when together.

𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐑

Gingerchirp - A former kittypet whose bright and has a good heart. Despite being looked down on by many, she's really good at probably solving and taught Nightpaw alot using techniques many mentors didn't. The more lax approach to training has helped Nightpaw find a pace she's comfortable with, and she's thankful for it.

𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃

Nightpaw was born a close, tight knit family. Despite her father being the deputy of the clan, older cats still referred to her and her siblings as 'half clan', a snide and cruel reminder of her father's rouge blood. However, like him, Nightpaw was determined to be a good warrior of the clan to prove to everyone that blood only matters in terms of relation.

She spent a lot of her kithood trying to be as perfect as possible, often missing out on playing with the others as she worried about being seen as silly; especially when she saw older cats annoyed about loud kits or ones who got in the way. Despite this she wasn't entirely lonely, having the company of her siblings.

Eventually she was apprenticed. And, despite the bad storms and flooding that seemed to plague the clan - she was able to thrive.

Unfortunately her father, Hawksight, was struck by lightening and died as a result only a few moons into her apprenticeship. She mourned him greatly, and has only become more determined to honor his memory by being an amazing warrior.
