This is Alex Winters, a special character I created for Autism awareness month.

Disclaimer: I know that Autism is a wide spectrum and it's different for everyone. The way I will be portraying it with this character is based on my personal observations while living with someone on the spectrum, won't say who just in case. Anyway, on with the description.

Bio: Since she was young, Alex wouldn't ever hang out with other kids her age. Mainly because people thought she was weird due to her fox ears and tail, but also because she wasn't really social anyway.

Besides, Alex absolutely hated large crowds, so she mostly kept to herself and that's how she likes it. However, she will socialize if she absolutely has too, such as answering a question in class.

When she was in 1st grade, Alex discovered electronics and that quickly became all she wanted to talk and learn about. From little wrist watches to cars, anything technological Alex loved and knew a lot about by the time she was in 5th grade.

As she grew older, Alex did meet one person who she was able to connect with due to their similar likes and dislikes. That one friend was the only other person Alex would hang out with and through that friend, she discovered L.A.R.P and D&D. She immediately became fixated on that for a while.

There are also some things she doesn't like, mainly due to texture. For example, she hates sour foods because of the grittiness of the citric acid as well as taste. But she loves the soft and chewy texture of gummy candies.

One of her favorite things in the whole world, other than working on technology is her notebook. The notebook has her ideas and scratches for inventions, life notes, and D&D notes. I guess you could say that it's her security object.
