PERSONALITY
Although Kaanan seems like he'd be a more talkative person due to telling stories all the
time, he'll actually stay fairly quiet, as he's often focused on creating new stories, and will mostly only talk when he is talked to first. On stage, it may look like he does not have a care in the world, but he frequently spends his nights trying to censor stories, afraid they would come across as bizarre or cruel to his listeners. He also loves his family greatly.

BACKSTORY
Back when Kaanan was little, his mind would never stop running. He would think about all these crazy concepts, like a witch as pale as a ghost haunting her children, or a black cat bringing everyone misfortune, causing them to eventually die after being so misfortunate they could barely function, etc. Kaanan told these to his best friend, Kiran, who enjoyed them greatly. His mother on the other hand thought Kaanan was trying to corrupt Kiran with his stories, one day giving Kaanan a big lecture about how he shouldn't expose her son to his violent stories and demanded that Kaanan never showed his face around her and her son ever again. With a frown on his face, he walked away from his best friends house, never seeing Kiran again. After that moment, he began to alter his stories to be less gruesome. He told the tale of the cat to his older sisters but instead of everyone dying, they find out the cat is cursed and help the cat break said curse. They both encouraged him to share it with the other kids around his town, which he hesitated at first, but eventually agreed. He gathered a rather big audience, continuing to make it grow to this day.
