PERSONALITY + OTHER ESSENTIALS:
Ethan can come off as very nosy since he often accidentally eavesdrops, knowing a lot about the other people at school. He has a reputation for being the weird stoner, usually only being with his friends in the bathrooms and at lunch, never in class. He tends to be louder with his friends, playfully teasing and making fun of them, but gets very defensive if he feels accused or threatened since he's very knees deep in denial.

He also is a very sexual person in general. This guy is an absolute freak. He has reoccurring wet dreams almost every day and also hides porn magazines in his room, which his mom eventually finds. It's very obvious if he finds something attractive since he gets all sweaty and red in the face. Though, he hasn't gotten laid at all.

He loves to explore and be outdoors since he feels trapped in his own home. Anywhere but his house is like a dream - he will automatically say yes to a hangout unless it's on a Sunday or some other day he's in Church - or a day he has tutoring. He also loves South Park.

BACKSTORY:
Born in Minnesota, Ethan was raised in a Catholic family. Or, well, Ethan's mom being Catholic and Ethan's dad not giving a shit about religion. He went to Church every Sunday and sometimes even went during the week to help out, enjoying what he did up until middle school. He had gained a small crush on this boy, and Ethan's mother caught on, which soon lead to a lecture telling him that being gay was a sin and God would never forgive him for it. Of course, that made the boy panic and suppress his true self for a long while.

Just at the end of middle school he met this boy named Jack. They got very close very quickly due to their similar tastes and love for adventure. As much as Ethan tried to deny it, he was gaining a crush on Jack. He never dared to say a word - not only would God never forgive him, but he didn't want to lose this precious boy just because of some dumb feelings. But it was pretty hard to ignore, since he thought about Jack all the time - hell, he was even popping up in his reoccurring wet dreams. That was mad embarrassing.

While in high school he got dragged into smoking weed and skipping class. He knew that all of this was horrible and he felt like a phony, a false Christian, but every time he tried to come back and quit, it always failed since he missed too much and he was addicted. He was always faced with yelling from his mom, and his dad was probably watching some football during the arguments. He prayed for himself to get better all the time, but of course, there was no luck.

One party during sophomore year of high school changed everything. Ethan was a bit tipsy and Jack opted to take him home, babysitting per usual, but not minding it since Ethan was his best friend. They both went to Jack's house and some things escalated, leading them to share a quick kiss, an impulsive act coming from Ethan. He had a meltdown afterwards, not meaning to act on even more sinful behavior. Jack comforted him gently and helped him see that being gay wasn't all that horrible, and even if it didn't help Ethan all that much, it still made him feel better.

Ethan's mom had found out of everything eventually through finding pictures and some unfortunate magazines the boy had hidden and confronted him about it. She was extremely pissed and took his key, cross necklace and wallet, and sold his phone, kicking him out of the house permanently. Ethan sat on benches in the dog park for a couple of days, soaked from the cold rain, before Jack eventually found him and decided to let the blonde live with him. His parents were supportive of it, even if Ethan had acted odd about it for months.
