Ayami can use her quirk Timestep to make a limited invisible dome which she is able to control time inside the dome she can slow down up and coming attacks or fast forward them in the outside world she can control time inside the dome which also meant she can either slow herself down in the dome or perhaps make herself speedy around the dome this helps her if an opponent enters their dome she can slow down their movements and attack them faster in the dome or once the opponent inside the dome she can fast forward their time and she will dodge it and they come out of their dome it's like creating time zones in certain places.

[QUIRK DRAWBACKS]
However once they activate their quirk she can't move the dome the done will stay in its place for five minutes where it was activated and not only that but the limit of space the zone is five meters and seven feet height and once ayami activates it she can use another some until the other disappeared she has to recharge as her quirk takes a lot of concentration and energy she needs to make sure that the spot is where dome if were to go beyond her limits she may experience head ache and vomiting as the consequences of she were to go too far.

As a child ayami has always been a quiet and observant child she wasn't quiet communicative to other children so she often being a loner she was much more interested on heroes and her own hobbies but she was always observing her situations and surrondings and the people around it when ayami was born her mother had planned out her whole life and what career she'll take and ayami goes along what her mother says since she didn't know what she wants and her father always told her she'll need to make her own path on what she wants but ayami didn't know what she wants and her true calling so up until middle school starts where she saw a lonely toddler child alone in the shopping mall no one else seemed to helped her so ayami decided to help them find their family so she at first asked the boy where was the last time they were with their family and how did he get lost? The boy told her what happened and they took the child where they were last with their family and she started calling out the boys family and than she went to security that's when ayami sees a two worrying parents talking to the mall security so she asks the boy if that were their family and the boy nodded and started running to them and the parents were happy and hugged the boy they thanked ayami which ayami smiled back and said "It was no problem please next time to take care of your toddler more carefully"ayami said and in that moment that sparked her interest on becoming a hero and later after few weeks she witness the hero edgeshot saving a citizens from a building that was on fire as many other heroes extinguished the fires and other saving citizens from the burning building and that sparked her interest more so she had decided to become a hero she asked her dad for training but her mother didn't approved of it but ayami didn't want to go to the career her mother picked her and they had an argument but the decision was final ayami wanted to become a hero and the relationship between her mother became rather distant because her mother still disapproves of ayami being a hero but ayami will show her that she can be a the best hero! So in just a year ayami worked hard everyday her dreams and career job was her true calling she wants to become a hero she wants to prove herself that she can so she was able to pass UA Academy entrance exam and that is her journey on becoming a hero in UA Academy begins...
