Backstory : Ellie was born to a large Scottish-American family in 1913 . Being number 9 of 12 kids to Deigo a steelworker and Bella a factory worker . Growing up , Ellie witnessed her father abuse her mother and figured that was how many marriages worked . In 1918 , her father and 4 of her brothers were drafted into ww1 . Leaving her mother to support 7 children on her own . Sadly , her brothers died in war and her father returned a shell of a man . In 1925 , at 12 years old Ellie was married to a 13 year old named Edward . The marriage ended after Edward caught Ellie in bed with her second husband . By 17 years old , Ellie had been married 3 times and had her eye on Alastor , the 30 year old radio host . She charmed him and they married a day before she was 18 years old. Ellie was well aware of her husband's killings and cannibalism . In November 1931 , they had thier only child Mary Jane who sadly died from polio a week before Christmas. Ellie and Alastor tried to have another child . But in 1933 , Ellie was pregnant but was informed Alastor was killed after being shot by police . She married in February to a man named Dennis Lawson , a lawyer . Fueled by rage against the police and pregnancy hormones . The 20 year old went on a killing spree of anyone , she blamed for her husband's death . In May 1934 while 7 months pregnant . Ellie was killed after being hit by a stray bullet during a gang shoot out . Once in hell , she reunited with her father and soon opened her clothing store . It wasn't until 1978 , she reunited with Alastor.
