The Traditionalist
Name: Lorenzo Accardi
Age: 33
Personality: Lorenzo is someone who is rather reserved and cordial, though such a first glance shouldn't be misjudged. Even if he is someone who abhors the need to use violence as the first option, he isn't squeamish on having someone killed or doing it himself. But he doesn't possess the sadistic tendencies of his cousin, as he doesn't enjoy inflicting pain on others to get his point across. As he views such acts as barbaric and unnecessary, which in that light. Makes others view him as mercifully, which they aren't wrong. As he often tries to find peaceful solutions to things, he is also a rather honorable person who keeps his word and wouldn't be someone to shoot you in the back. But give you the dignity of being shot in the face if one has crossed him or didn't hold their end of the deal.. as for how he is with his true family, as much as he hates who his cousin is and what he became. He still carries someone level of compassion for him and even his sister, even if both of them are the most concerning individuals he has ever gotten to know over the years. But even then, he stands against them and their ideals. So peace is far from being an option he would wish to have with them, as that makes him dread the idea of actually having to fight each other. As he can't stomach the idea of having them killed, let alone by his hands.. as for if he has a lover, even if he is a busy individual. He would try to give them as much time as possible and even seek consultation with them if something bothers him. As he is a rather open person to those he trusts completely
Height: 6'0
Weight: 152
Occupation: Don
Appearance:
Weapons/Training: Lorenzo carries with him a Smith & Wesson model 10 revolver as his sidearm of choice, although he his capable of using most guns. He lacks experience with most larger firearms. Lorenzo is also a capable fighter, but definitely not his saving grace. His main thing is being a great strategist and diplomat, as he much rather not have to use violent actions at all
Background: The story of Castello and Isabella has been told, but Lorenzo's side of things wasn't.. During his time when the Barone family was whole, his father taught him plenty of things. Mainly traditions to honor and that they are the only things keeping the family from getting out of hand, which he took those lessons to heart and believed in it. Even after the collapse of the family, along with the things that followed after it. Even with the passing of his father, he clings to his father's beliefs
So it came to no surprise when he was working with his cousin to re-establish order with the new family, with Castello at the helm. That he was willing to let him be in charge, as it was an old agreement that Castello's father was supposed to take over after the old Don's passing.. although honoring that agreement didn't come without the dismay of some of the members in the family, as they wanted Lorenzo to be on in charge. Since it was his father that they were following before serving under Castello, to which Lorenzo had to settle them down. As he had hopes that everything would turn out fine... for the most parts, it was. But every victory they had was not without it's losses, as their situation was looking rather bleak. But the final battle was one that would've been the most devastating to them, if not for the mercenaries that Castello asked for help. To say that Lorenzo was furious when he found out about this was an understatement. As others followed his sentiment, believing outside assistance not only makes them seem weak. But getting help from mercenaries, people with no sense of loyalty or honor. As it something that they are willing to sell, as long as there is money to be had. Was a blatant insult to some of the family and the sacrifices they made, as tension within the family was starting to rise and could've devolved into infighting... but Lorenzo had to make the final call of getting the others to settle down once more. Telling them that after the final fight, this would be the only rule Castello breaks. He believed his cousin was only doing this once, but to say he had doubts about him. Was putting it mildly as did inform those that share his feelings of distrust towards his cousin, to split off with him if he broke another tradition
After the final fight, everything seemed to have gone well for the family when they established themselves. As they got more power and members fairly quickly, everyone seemed to have settled down about the whole mercenaries thing. Even Lorenzo felt at ease for a moment, but he could tell something was off still. But he was hoping it was just his imagination, but that was quickly shattered when he found out his cousin is working with the mercenaries and is trading with them.. but that wasn't the only thing that happened when he addressed this slander to Castello. That his actions are breaking traditions again, his cousin seemed unfazed. As the realization dawned on him, he had already broken many traditions after the final battle. As much as Lorenzo wanted to fight his cousin about this, it would devolve into bloodbath. The only option for peace was to leave with the other members of the family that found out about this, as he is a man of his word. Establishing his own family, as he never lied to them or go behind their back. As he will honor all traditions, as long as he lives
