Quirk: Iron Wings

About the Quirk: Ryu's quirk is just like her father's in a way. She has large ash grey wings that look like normal wings. However, she can change her wings appearance. Her wings can turn into metallic wings and can use each individual feather as a weapon, even launching them while in flight. This metallic state is really good as a defense, as her wings are very sturdy.

Downside of Quirk: While she is super fast in her normal wings state. When she has her wings in her metallic state, she becomes more slower. While her dad can sense the vibrations in his wings, Ryu can not and can only sent out individual feathers when her wings are in their normal state, not in the metallic phase.

Backstory: In the early stages of her life, Ryu can only remember traveling from many different places with her father. Ryu never really questioned her father's choices until she was six. Having traveling around for so long and not being able to go out or make friends, really took a toll on the young girl.

It took her father to realize they would never be safe when Ryu was 'kidnapped' by the very people he used to work with. Why her father had left his spot as the number two hero was a mystery to Ryu until she had gotten older. Her dad at the time before Ryu was born had met a women who was the daughter of a powerful villain at the time. He was supposed to kill her and the villain, but decided to not kill her since she had no idea what her dad was up too.

After he was done with his mission and hid the fact that the daughter wasn't really dead, and changed her identity with the help of the pro hero. Their relationship went on for a good amount of years. It wasn't until Ryu was born, did her mother pass due to complications and stress of child birth. Her father was afraid that people would notice his daughters connection to her mother, which is why he ran.

Years later down the line with Ryu joining U.A and graduating. She had became a Pro Hero in hopes to make her father proud after he promised to retire and keep a low profile.

Personality: If Ryu got her looks from her mother, than she got her personality from her father. She can be the fun loving, and teasing which in turn can make her seem like a careless person. However, this is how she gets other fooled because she is actually studying them and their interactions.
