Nationality: he was born in Japan but his family comes from far away. His mother never talks about where she was raised but he knows it was on a island.
Personality: Weiss is a guy who everyone would look at and call a flirty troublemaker; and thats exactly what he is but more. The male doesn't give two sh*ts about anything other than what he's passionate about and isn't afraid to do something impulsive and could get him in trouble. Weiss hates being told what to do and if he can get under your skin, he will since his fun is causing chaos and watching the bad side come out of people. He doesn't care much about his health, smoking to his hearts content or doing rash things. If Weiss isn't at school than 70% of the time he's at the police station for something. He can't sit still so school is torture for him and most of the time he just won't go or walk out. Despite this sometimes he can be a major flirt to girls and boys, not caring what people think of his personality. He might act like this but he doesn't trust people and keeps secrets from others. Weiss is a big mystery to plenty of people even if it seems like he is straight forward. There is a lot of...what most people would say flaws to his personality but he isn't a bad guy; just reckless and hyper. Most people don't like him so he doesn't have much friends which isn't in his list of worries one bit. He is more of an introvert despite his explosive personality and can be nice when he wants to be.

Friends: not really anyone. A lot of people have a hard time getting along with him. He does find Tendou to be pretty cool.
Family: Melody Iosua (mom): She is a stay at home mom. Doesn't speak Japanese too well but does well for living in Japan for not that long.
Iida Iosua (dad): was born in Japan and works in a company. Is rarely home at times so it's the oldest son taking care of things at home
Drake Iosua (older brother)- always trying to take care of his mom and his younger brother. It's hard when he's always getting into trouble.
Background: Weiss has had a bit of a troubled life to lead up to this point. He was born in Japan after his mother and father moved here to start a new life. At a young age, Weiss showed psychotic tendencies and anger issues that needed to be handled right away. It started when he punched a kid for calling him names in first grade but it kicked when he was in middle school, beating up a group of kids that was supposedly his friends which he sent them to the hospital; they were okay and it was obvious he felt bad about it but he needed some help with these bursts of anger. His parents put him to therapy but the therapist he hated. He felt suffocated being in a room alone with this person and their methods were more forceful and threatening than should be. His dad is never around so he had no idea about the therapist being passive aggressive with their words sometimes physical abuse. It was cleared up that the therapist was being too aggressive after two years and it ended up the man has had a few incidents like this but they couldn't find enough evidence. Weiss learned to calm down a bit but he became wanting to be away from everyone and not being able to sit still. His anger is still a problem but with the help of his older brother he isn't quick to want to kill a person for just calling him a name. Weiss isn't close to his mother but it doesn't mean he doesn't like her. He wants the best for her, showing his love a different way like cleaning the house or getting her gifts randomly. Weiss isn't close to his father, feeling this barrier between them because of how he acts and since hes never around. The only reason he doesn't cause as much trouble as he could is because of his older brother with how he practically raised him. Now, Weiss still has to go to therapy and the hospital but he barely listens to them and gives them a hard time. He joins Aoba Johsai (or Fukurodani) volleyball not because he wants to but because hes forced by his father and the new therapist since they said it would be good for him. All that to say, those incidents changed him but he's had a pretty stable life even if its hard for him in social area of life. At home, hes calm and more passive.
