Personality: He's quiet and doesn't stand out much. Sam can be a bit timid but overall doesnt so too much emotion. Hes selfless and wont say anything when something is bothering him or he's upset. Sam daydreams a lot and has a hard time focusing on just about everything especially school work and reading. A part of it is because he slowly is losing his sight but isn't able ro get medical treatment. Not a lot of people know Sam just because hes good at hiding in the shadows.

Background: Sam doesn't have the best life but he tries to make the most of it. He is the youngest out of the three children in his family. His siblings are rarely home and when they are home, fights break out over college tuition and mostly money situations. Sam's parents are going through major money problems and almost always have. They argue a lot and his father occasionally lets out his anger too much on Sam but when his mother isn't home or walks out for a while. He apologizes afterwards and tries to fix anything that he did. It isn't the same really and Sam feels like he doesn't actually care its just to cover the fact his father could get in trouble. Sam had a major concussion in middle school due to falling down a flight of stairs but he never mentioned anything because he didnt want to be a burden and it would cost money. Hes slowly losing his eye sight due to the damage of his brain but hes hoping maybe it wont get too bad. His siblings dont know much what is going on and dont realize that the family is in bad shape since its hard to see and they're busy trying to get through they're lives. 
Apperance: he has light brown hair and very dark brown eyes. He has scars along his arms that he hides. Theyre fat ones and bruises occasionally.
