Personality: Hayami looks like your average woman and honestly a lot of people underestimate her. Hayami is sweet and soft spoken girl; barely speaking unless needed. It is not that she is shy, but rather she is rather patient and calm. No one would think she is capable of slicing a demon's head off in less than two minutes. Hayami has not once shown anger by yelling or screaming but you know when the air pressure is thick and her smile is way too...menacing. She thinks about her actions and others, and when in battle, she comes up with plans quickly. Off of battle, Hayami is a day dreamer and honestly can seem obvious to the world around her. You will often find her standing in the rain or sitting in the grass, quiet as a mouse and as invisible as a ghost. Hayami doesn't think of herself as much, finding herself quite useless, but does her best to help with cleaning and preparation of food at the Butterfly Estate.
Likes: spring time, being outside, ribbon dancing, storytelling, helping out, improving on techniques, children
Dislikes: demons, people succumbing to greed, flying bugs (they appear out of nowhere and give her heart attacks), someone trying to scare her like a prank, dancing for people

Friends: she is a friend to all even to those who are rude to her. She especially likes Shinobu, Tanjiro and Nezuko (she treats Nezuko as her sister and Tanjiro as her younger brother). She also is fond of Senemi.
Rivals/enemies: demons of course are her enemy but she pities them for being turned into a demon, Kanroji but they aren't enemies

Weapons: She uses a scythe as her sword to cut down demons. Instead of a usual blade, two fans made of blades and thick fabric is used in it's place. Like the picture down below, the fans can detach if needed and still be used. One is bigger than the other to make that long crescent moon shape. The color of the handle is black with a pink ribbon wrapped around the handle *it was her mother's*. The fan blades are black while the fabric color is white with a pattern of a branch of a cherry blossom tree.

Breath style forms: These forms are unique to her in a way because she is blind.
First Breath: Splash of Sight- This breath allows Hayami to focus her sense of touch to the ability of being able to see where everything is around her for a wide range. By doing this breath, she slides her foot across the ground, focusing on the vibrations of everything from people, to the movements of the leaves on the trees. This breath is what she uses constantly to get around. Even without it, she can be aware of her surroundings because of the vibrations.

Second Breath: Soundless Wave- A fast slashing attack not meant to hit the target but it sends a sound wave to make the opponent deaf for a certain amount of time. It cannot be heard by the opponent but the affect is almost immediate. It depends on how strong the opponent is. This attack is long range but it can also hurt her allies so she must be aware of the trajectory

Third Breath: Dance of Life- She spins her scythe around her like it is a flowing ribbon. It is a fast attack that will shred a demon to bits. It is used also for defense against an attack with many things to dodge or block against.

Fourth Breath: Surge- A intense slash attack meant to do the finishing blow on a demon's neck or to slow down the regeneration process. It takes a lot of concentration since Hayami's strong suit is not strength and if she misses or doesn't have backup it can be fatal mistake as well putting pressure on her heart.

Fifth Breath: Fan Strike- One or both fans detach from the handle, granting her a second weapon or is launched at the opponent. Hayami can make the opponent fall back with this attack but it also leaves her open since she is down on a range and defense. When the fan detaches, it closes up to form one blade, if it hits the opponent, the fan will open, possible being able to cut through bone.

Sixth Breath: Dance of Death- Her movements change dramatically, her speed increasing to the point you cannot hear her movements. These careful steps are best used with the fans in both hands but can be used with the scythe. She slashes through multiple enemies with precision. The wind coming from her fans emits a sound that immobilizes the enemy so they must watch their last seconds of life. This breath can cause for her ears to bleed since her sensitivity of sound increases. This breath can only last for a few seconds.

Demon slayer corp uniform: She also has these protective ribbons around her ankles and some on her heel to protect her. They're soft but tough to break through.

Backstory: Hayami was born in a place of where women were used for entertainment. She never knew who her father was and never wishes to know. Her mother was a ribbon dancer for these shows that took place illegally in an underground system involved in a lot of illegal activity. Hayami wasn't born blind, having bright blue eyes like her mother. At the age of 11, she had been sheltered from the greed and disgusting people who thought these women were used for entertainment. Her mother taught her how to dance not for others but for herself; to feel the flow of freedom and life through the rhythm and body movements. Hayami couldn't be kept safe in the cage they were forever; she was forced to dance as well as serve out drinks and food for the "guests". At the age of 14, she lost her sight due to the owner of the bar getting angry for Hayami stabbing a man in the side for attacking her mother. She has two small scars under her eyes as well as the corners. Her mother made the decision to try and escape not long after, successfully escaping the place with the opportunity of the place getting raided by the authorities. At the time Ayame couldn't walk around and function like she can now so the escape was hard. Once escaping, only a few hours of freedom was given to them before they were attacked by Muzan himself. It was only coincidence that they ran into him while he was trying to turn a human into a demon but it failed. The only reason Hayami is alive is because of the mercy of the sun making it's way up to the sky. Her mother wasn't so fortunate...Hayami could not see but she could feel and hear all that had happened. Her mother was ripped apart in a flash and left to die. Hayami was found by a demon slayer, taken to the Butterfly Estate for treatment and there she stayed. Hayami was taught the breathing technique and she formed her own kind of breath unique to her and her standards.
