Background: Yoshitaka's family has never been the most functional. His grandparents are all divorced several times, his parents' marriage is hanging on by a thread, and his sister and him rarely see each other. His parents have lived overseas because of work for most of his life, only really living in America when it was convenient for them. Yoshitaka lived with his grandmother from when he was eight to when he was thirteen, but before and after that he just lived alone with nannies and his sister at his family's home.
When he was thirteen, his parents came back home briefly and tried to start dictating Yoshitaka's life, starting with removing him from his grandmother's care and forcing him to live with them. They tried to force him to move halfway across the country just to get a "proper schooling" so that he could get a high paying job like them and make the family proud. Yoshitaka hated this and quickly removed himself from the entire situation by moving into his school dorm, only keeping in touch with his sister who had always been by his side.
This, however, did not stop his parents from trying everything to get him to obey their wishes. They're constantly attempting new things to try and get him to follow their orders, but all of them have failed so far.

Personality:
•Introverted- Yoshitaka tends to dislike social interaction. Every conversation he has drains his energy and he often hits his limit not even halfway through the day. He prefers being alone or around people he's known and trusted for a very long time. This isn't to say that he's bad at socializing however, he's actually quite charismatic when it comes down to it, but he gets frustrated with speaking very easily.
•Chill- Yoshitaka is very calm. He's rarely flustered or upset, even when a situation is against him. He rarely lets his frustrations and negative emotions out, and he's very good at keeping a level head in difficult situations.
•Carefree- Yoshitaka doesn't actually seem to mind anything too much. Troubles and problems don't bother him much, and he rarely takes on enough responsibility to be stressed. He takes everything in stride and deals with things whenever and however he sees fit.
•Talented- Toshitaka is quite a talented person. He breezes through school without much effort and can pick up most skills at a decent pace without too much hassle. He's quite adaptable because of this, but he rarely follows through with learning things all the way because he gets bored easily.
•Unemotional- Yoshitaka is unfortunately someone who is isn't very good at expressing emotions. He's always shoved them away and rarely opens up to people, which makes him come off as cold and emotionless to most people. He shows the basic, general emotions, but he never lets people see his true feelings no matter how much he's hurting. This also applies to other people, since Yoshitaka often doesn't understand how his words or situations that arise might affect people.
•Veracious- While some people might think commitment to the truth is a good thing, Yoshitaka is brutally honest. He doesn't hold back any punches when critiquing or offering opinions, which has hurt many people in the past. He doesn't really understand why people get upset with him over this.
•Lazy- Yoshitaka, due to his ability to pick up most skills very easily, is quite a lazy person. He procrastinates, forgets homework, doesn't respond to people in a timely manner. It seems like he couldn't care less about anything most of the time. He is very susceptible to bribes however, especially in food form.
•Inattentive- Tying into his laziness and unemotional tendencies, Yoshitaka isn't very attentive to the people he knows or what he does in a day. Changes in behavior, surroundings, and life structure often go unnoticed because of his uncaring attitude. It often seems like he's just going through the motions.

Strengths: Very level headed and calm, can be quite charismatic, he's very talented, and is really good at memorization.

Weaknesses: He doesn't really get emotions, which causes conflict easily. He's also lazy, inattentive, and easily bored.

Likes: Reading, video games, music, playing instruments, taking naps, sleeping in late, foreign movies and shows

Dislikes: Too much interaction, his family (minus his sister), summertime, the color green, school, bugs, waking up early, random people confessing to him

Hobbies: Yoshitaka has had many hobbies, but he mostly falls back on reading, listening to/playing music, and playing video games.

•He's been playing volleyball since he was five and is a libero. He unfortunately has many mixed feelings about the sport because his dad was the one who made him start playing, and often doesn't give his all in games because of it.
