Emily is a careless and selfish girl. As long as she can get benefited by anything, she'll take it. She hardly thinks of any consequences before she acts. She can be found at all the parties, getting drunk and practically throwing herself at the older guys. It can be assumed that she doesn't have any self-respect, but she does. Emily just doesn't ever show it. She considers this slutty high school girl act, as herself. She doesn't realize that she can be so much more than just sex and alcohol.

Likes:

Sex- Emily, for some reason, just enjoys having sex. She enjoys the random hook ups, one night stands, friends with benefits type of thing. It's not that she can't handle a serious relationship, because she can with the right guy, but she just doesn't really understand that there's more to a relationship than just having sex.

Older men- Emily sees older men (like in their twenties) as more mature and experienced men. That's what she wants in a guy; someone who is experienced in certain areas. She also learned from past experiences, that with an older man as a boyfriend, she can have much more fun such as sneaking into clubs, more access to alcohol, and more privacy as they tend to be on their own.

Fashion- Fashion has always been a dream of Emily's. It's practically the one thing she takes seriously in her life. She enjoys dressing up in various skirts, shirts and dresses and then pairing them with different heels. When she is older, Emily would want to explore the fashion world. Mainly she wants to create her own fashion line and designs her own clothes.

Dislikes:

Her parents- Emily and her parents don't see eye to eye on things. They have different views on different topics while Emily will have the complete opposite. The three of them can never agree on anything to save their own lives.

Boys her age- Emily mainly sees high school boys immature. That they don't really care for much except for themselves and their egos. She also didn't like the way they act, which drove her away from boys her age and more towards older men.

Being grounded- Emily hates being grounded more than anything. Her parents will go to the extreme when grounding her; no tv, computer for only school, no phone, no car, and no going out to see friends. Emily sees it as being stuck in prison as she can't do anything else expect to just lay in her room and do absolutely nothing.

Background:

Emily was still fifteen (almost sixteen) when she and one of her high school teachers were caught together after school. Her parents didn't press charges, and they didn't want the story to be leaked into the newspaper either. They wanted the whole situation to just disappear and pretend like it never happened. As a result, she was forced to end the relationship she had with the teacher and she had to move to a whole different state with her parents.

Other:

No one (expect her parents, and certain faculty members at her old high school) knows about Emily's relationship with her teacher. She also doesn't think she'll be able to have a serious relationship, as the one she had with her teacher was her first serious relationship.
