Personality: Cleo is a very childish girl. Having grown up in the water, she hardly knows much about life out of the water, and she has that idea that everyone is nice to each other even that is not true. Since she has that mindset, Cleo is easily controllable and will honestly believe anything you say. Cleo is a romantic; loving the idea of true love and happy endings. She believe that that's a reality and that everyone has their own and deserves their own true love and happy ending. She's willing to help anyone that needs it, with the idea that everyone is good and there's no such thing as a bad bone in someone's body. 

Likes: 

True love- Cleo, ever since she saw The Little Mermaid through the window of someone's home, fell in love with the idea of princesses, princes and true love. She believes that somewhere in the world, her one true love is waiting for her and is looking for her. She doesn't know how childish it may seem, but she always believes in love and the idea of soulmates.

Smiling- There will always be a smile on Cleo's face. She always seems to have a reason to be happy about something which result in her smiling most of the time and sometimes laughing. Cleo is always a happy girl and it can be rare to see her without a smile on her face. 

Swimming- Since Cleo grew up in the ocean, she always enjoyed to swim in the free ocean. She likes to swim as fast as she can, racing any sea creature she may come upon, or sometimes just floating on top of the water. Cleo especially likes to see her just floating around in the water. She just finds it so memorizing.

Dislikes: 

Being taken advantage of- Cleo doesn't like it when she is being used. She doesn't understand why someone would even use another person for their own benefits. It is something that has always confused her while she watches people on land, and it is something that she doesn't thing she'll ever understand.

The truth- Cleo hates facing the truth. She knows that there's always the truth to somethings, and most of the time she hates facing the cold hard truth. She doesn't like facing the truth, because she knows that sometimes it doesn't make things better and she'll feel worse that she did before. Cleo, as much as she hates it, would rather be lied to than facing the truth.

Hiding her tail- Hiding the fact that Cleo grows a large pink tail when in contact with water, is something that she learned to be difficult. She feels like water is everywhere, and it makes it hard for her to hide her tail. Cleo especially doesn't like it when she does come in contact with water, she has to hide herself before her tail suddenly pops out.

Background: 

Cleo is a mermaid, so she grew up in the ocean. Many times, ever since she was young, Cleo would swim close to shore to watch the people and how they live. She's always been memorized at how they live and what they do from day to day basis. Ever since she saw the movie, The Little Mermaid, when she was about thirteen, Cleo fell in love with the idea of true love and soulmates. So as she grew older and realized that her "true love" wasn't in the ocean with her, she left the ocean to live on land. At eighteen, Cleo started to live on land, working as a model so she could survive on her own.
