~ shadow manipulation; he can move shadows as well as become them, moving within them. it enhances the winnowing skill most fae have. he can also solidify them in a way that allows him to craft weapons that leave with a sting, similar to that of jellyfish.
~ flying; he's an illyrian so he has massive bat wings that he's not able to shift away. he is quite proud of these beauties though and often uses them along with his prowess to gain bed companions.
~ daemati; he doesn't train this often, though sharpens it every now and then to keep the helpful . he only uses it to get a lay of the land in advisory meetings or if the person he's giving special attention to is accepting and wanting more. it
~ starlight; he can harness stars! this means white, hot rock and gases... the making of stars. it's very dangerous and he has to take care to use it in emergency situations. it takes a lot from cal as it basically slowly burns him from the inside out, so he has to monitor his usage in a short time period to keep himself from dying.

Personality || this man is a goofy one, always living life to the fullest and with the truest extent of himself. he is a dancer, classically trained and known for being a fun sight to see at a ball. he got involved with dance at a young age due to being drawn to music and wanting to have an activity to keep him in shape. he is careful to make sure he is always out together and is often pushing male fashion boundaries, known for gracing a magazine page or two with some modeling gigs. he loves exploring a store, it's his favorite pastime to shop by himself and think as he spends copious amounts of money. at night, he's a wild one, having many creatures, fae and human alike, within his bed or in their beds. if he goes out at night with the intention of going home with someone, it is destined to happen and he will charm anyone and everyone.

Background || he was born into a wealthy family, the definition of night court old money. his father, an illyrian general, married into his family and granted cal and his sister some of his abilities. he grew up with this older sister, who also had wings. they get along decently enough with but they're quite a few hundred years apart so they're not too close. his parents are simple old fae who are enjoying their retirement to the fullest with knitting and reading and gardening. cal craved a more exciting lifestyle so he moved from his parents' house in the suburbs of velaris into an apartment near the market square. he lives life up as a wealthy elite bachelor, enjoying his hundreds of years of free reign and no responsibilities. he got involved with the ballet due to his dancing skill and his good looks, making him a prime candidate for dramatic male leads in romantic dances.
