Weapons: Most of his battles take place while airborne, so his main weapons are the built-in guns of his alternate mode as well as heat-seeking missiles and an electronic disruptor. On the ground, he'll often use the mounted guns on his forearms or really any weapon he can find (aside from swords, he's a rather clumsy swordsman). He is also proficient in hand-to-hand combat.

Height: 28 ft

Physical appearance: Larger than most Autobots, Spindrift definitely stands out in a crowd. At a height of 28 feet, he towers over many of those he works alongside. His main color scheme is comprised of red, blue, white, and light grey. Most of his armor plating is colored light grey, with accents of red, white, and blue on his forearms, legs, and wings. Speaking of wings, his wings stick out like a seeker's and are able to move around depending on his mood. The reinforced cockpit from his alt mode is integrated into his chest armor, adding an extra layer of protection over his spark chamber. Built into his pedes are a pair of jet thrusters which allow him to fly and hover in bot mode as well as get out of sticky situations with a quick blast. Despite his size, he is fairly agile and can perform incredibly acrobatic aerial maneuvers that mostly involve spinning, hence his name "Spindrift".

Personality: While I wouldn't consider Spindrift's temperament much different than that of Optimus Prime, he possesses his own little quirks that make him an interesting character. A levelheaded fellow with a soft spark, Spindrift is the voice of reason in a room of clamoring Autobots. However, he will not allow others to take advantage of his kind nature and walk all over him. He can be surprisingly cold at times, especially during combat, as well as aggressive if a situation becomes dire. While he does empathize with a few Decepticons, he considers most of them to be his enemy. Spindrift prefers to work alone in an environment that he can control. He feels most at home in the sky.

Fears: His biggest fear would be Skycall, something that all fliers may experience during their lifetime. Skycall isn't exclusive to seekers—as previously assumed by grounders—and can affect any bot who possesses an aerial alternate mode. Spindrift has only experienced it once, but the ordeal was enough to traumatize him. Not being able to satisfy the itch in his wings nearly drove him mad. The mere idea of such torture still gives him nightmares to this day.

Family situation: His family disappeared after the fall of Iacon. He has yet to find any of them and assumes they're all dead.  

Friend situation: While Spindrift can pretty much get along with anyone, he only considers a select few to be his true friends. Bots like Optimus, Ratchet, and even Ironhide have earned his respect and thus his friendship

Special facts:

- He is a sucker for sweets, but often avoids the temptation until he physically cannot bear to withstand it any longer.

- Flying is a sort of therapy to him. It allows him to ponder over things that are troubling him, or forget them altogether and just enjoy the feeling of the wind against his wings.

- He loves to be rubbed between his wings. Just ask for permission before doing so, unless you want to end up with a cracked optic.

- Although he does not possess their razor sharp claws, he still has the fangs and communication skills of a seeker since he is a flier.

- He once flew through a storm and got struck by lightning. It took the Autobots two days to find him laying in a forest with his electrical systems overloaded.

- Ratchet has a love-hate relationship with Spindrift despite their friendship. While he is an overall good patient, he gets fussy when it comes to his wings due to how sensitive they are.

- He once burned a portion of Starscream's paint off with his thrusters.

- He regularly gets into arguments with Prowl just for the fun of it. The loser has to pay for drinks (that was Jazz's idea).
