Weight/build: 125 lbs, lean

Personality: Reagan is rather shy and tends to keep to herself more often than not, but once she's around a group of people that she's comfortable with, her true self begins to show. Her reluctance to open herself up to others makes it hard for her to make friends. She's sweet and kind, but also has a bit of a temper. She will fiercely defend herself and anyone close to her if danger arises. She can be sarcastic and mouthy at times, but she knows when to hold her tongue. Once she met Wheeljack, she learned to come out of her shell.
Backstory:
Reagan Smith is the oldest of three siblings and the only girl. Growing up, she was expected to help her father take care of her rambunctious brothers since her mother hardly did anything. She was a shy kid and had trouble speaking up for herself. At school, her interests were different than those of her fellow classmates, which meant she spent a lot of time by herself. She didn't mind all that much at first. That free time allowed her mind to wander and create stories about heroes who always beat the bad guys and lived happily ever after. But as she grew older, that lingering loneliness grew as well. It consumed her, making her hate the fact that everyone around her was happy with their friends. Her brothers were leading successful young lives while she was struggling. Her father tried his best to help her out, but her mother forbid him from doing so, saying she was weak and just needed to suck it up.
Upon entering her teenage years, Reagan's pent up anger was reaching a breaking point. She constantly got into arguments with her mother about her social life and caring for her younger brothers. To make things worse, one of her brothers found her diary in which she expressed feelings for a girl in school and her mother was not supportive in the slightest. Finally, after one final blowout, Reagan decided she was moving out at the age of 18. Her father supported her and helped her find a place to live in Jasper, Nevada without her mother knowing.
Now on her own, Reagan had to figure things out for herself, as her father could only teach her so much. She worked on her mental health, got a job, and continued school when she could afford to. At this point, she had no idea what a Cybertronian was or the fact that they were hiding on Earth, but she was about to find out.
While on a walk in the woods, she came across a strange device that most certainly looked alien. Since it was getting dark, she decided to bring it home with her and take it to the museum in the morning to see if it was an artifact of some sort. On her way there, however, she was followed by a flashy sports car that just wouldn't leave her alone. She was so focused on the car that she missed her turn and kept heading deeper into the forest, where the road eventually ended in a dead end. It there that she first met Wheeljack, who'd been tracking the signal of the device she was carrying in her car.
After a brief conversation, Wheeljack decided it would be best to bring her back to base so Ratchet could take a look at the device. They were interrupted, however, by an ambush from Starscream and Wheeljack was forced to protect her. Once he managed to elude the seeker, he returned to base with Reagan and the device. He was nominated as her guardian by Optimus despite being reluctant to accept and the pair began to bond. Now Reagan is pretty much a full-blown Wrecker, joining Miko as the group's two human Wreckers.
Strengths: One of Reagan's major strengths would be her ability to be independent. She's had no one to rely on but herself ever since she was 9 years old, which forced her to become independent. She has firm beliefs that almost no one can convince her to change and she can make decisions that are the best for herself.
Weaknesses: Reagan's major weaknesses would be her lack of self esteem and her inability to handle her emotions in stressful situations. Although she has learned to push her feelings away in order to get things done over the years, she still has trouble dealing with them when they do arise.
Likes: The Autobots (especially Wheeljack), the outdoors, baking, reading + writing stories, taking walks, hockey, soccer, listening to music, rainy days, the season of fall, sweatshirts, flannels
Dislikes: The Decepticons (although she feels bad for a few of them), parties, loud noises, going too far out of her comfort zone, getting embarrassed in front of people, hot weather (like humid hot, not warm), uncomfortable dresses
Theme song: "I'm Tired" by Amber Run
Special facts:
- Her father was supportive of her being bisexual and wished he could do more to help her. Her brothers would've been accepting if they hadn't been practically brainwashed by their mother.
- She always wanted to play hockey, but never had the courage to try out for a team. Instead, she settled on watching the games from the stands.
- Soccer provided an outlet for her and kept her active. She often played casual games with boys her age at the park. Her position of choice was goalkeeper, but she liked to play on the field too.
- Her love of baking stemmed from watching baking shows as a kid.
- While Wheeljack is usually rowdy and rambunctious, he knows when to tone it down for Reagan so that he doesn't overwhelm her.
- She relates the most to Jack and they often complain about different things to each other. Sometimes Ratchet will join in as well.
- She loves hearing Wrecker tales from Wheeljack and Bulkhead. They remind her of the crazy stories she used to make up when she was younger.
