Backstory: Diode was created specifically for one purpose just like any other Vehicon: to serve Megatron. Though he would do anything to please his master, there are some things that he wished he didn't have to do. He doesn't like how his kind is treated like dirt and is always the first to be sacrificed for pretty much anything. He's had luck on his side though, not being scrapped by the Autobots for quite a long time. During his time spent on the Nemesis, he developed a little crush on Starscream although the seeker doesn't return the affection and often blows him off.
