Taaffeite is a calm gem. She doesn't talk at all unless nessasary or to Oynx.

She can an arrow which no other gems can touch, as the blade will cut them and the arrow itself has an acidic affect to anyone else.

She can also make another gem, Oynx. This is the Taaffeite's 'weapon', a kind of clone but another gem.

She was the first and last Taaffeite to be made. She had no role but to show the diamonds from homeworld what she can do.

They were impressed by her being able to make another gem, but rendered her useless as she could only make one and Oynx seemed useless as she refused to show her weapon, claiming she had none.

Taaffeite had no place there, considering you can't defend yourself with an arrow so they sent her gem to earth. Later finding out Oynx did have a weapon by watching over footage of her in her cell, but when the pod that should of had Taaffeite's bubbled gem in it returned, it was empty.

Taaffeite has a slightly different gem from the rest. She can retreat into her gem form at will, and with enough concentration bring one other into it with her.

Her gem is a room like pearls, with the same fountains and things. She normally dances on the fountains. However, at the bottom there's a training room like in the first dogcopter episode.

Her dances are elegant and romantic. She normally tries syncing her dances with her partners, though.
