"Do you like video games?

Me too, but that soon became a problem quickly...

I'm a red haired gamer, and my name is Mark.

I had brought a new game, I was excited to play it. It was called 'Pale Luna' and was supposedly a horror game.

I put the disc in, and all there were was white text on a black screen.

I thought the jumpscares would come later so I played along with it. The text read;

"Your in a room. There's rope, gold, and a shovel in it, and one door leading out."

The options were;

"Pick up rope.
Pick up shovel.
Pick up gold."

I picked up the gold.

"It smells rotten."

I picked up the shovel.

"This will come in handy."

And I picked up the rope.

"There's still some red stuff on it."

I continued out, and it said;

"There's four ways to go. North, East, South, and West."

I tried picking East, but the game crashed and made me reboot.

This happened until I picked North, but the same option came again.

56 resetting the game's later (I counted) and I finally got to some different text which read;

"Pale Luna smiles at you. Right or left?"

The same glitch happened but I was DETERMINED to win, the text repeated the phrase "Pale Luna smiles at you." twice, then thrice, and then four times, and so on.

I tried using the rope and it said;

"You've already used this."

And when I tried using the gold and shovel it said;

"Not now."

Eventually, it came with different text saying;

"There's a patch of uneven dirt."

I use the shovel, and it works. I use the gold, and it works (the gold now wasn't in my text inventory at the top of my screen) and used the shovel, then the next screen said;

"Congratulations! You win!"

With some numbers at the end, which I figured out was coordinance.

I followed them the next day with a shovel excitedly, and admired how the steps I took were just like in the game.

When I got to them I saw an uneven pile of dirt, and started digging while thinking of how rich I'll be.

Suddenly, I hit something. I uncovered it and let out a shrill scream.

It was a smiling skeleton with long, golden hair.

When I managed to think about it, it made sense.

Use rope. You've already used this.

The girl was choked to death by the rope.

Pale Luna smiles at you.

'Pale' meant her bones. Luna was the girls name.

You dropped Gold into the hole.

The 'Gold' was the girl. I had buried her.

I ran immediately to call the police, nothing else, and reported her to the police."

That's my best friend's last note...

I don't know what he was talking about, I was given the game and its called 'Pale Mark' and the item is Ruby, not Gold...
