Jewel is a smart, emotionless girl.

There's nothing strange about her, apart from the fact that she lives in the village Rose runs.

She's also human.

She is, however, a murderer. Her crimes always involve a riddle, such as;

She kidnaps her victim, they wake up, sitting in a room with Jewel sitting on the chair opposite her, only a table separating them. In the middle of the table are two pills, while there are two glasses of water, one in front of Jewel and one in front of the victim. Jewel explains that one pill is poisoned, and that they can choose which pill they take and which pill she takes. She always wins.

The poison isn't in the pill, both are harmless. The poison is in their water.

The next is the same, except there's two glasses of water with 2 ice cubes in them and a chess board. She explains that whoever wins the game of chess gets to leave, the other dies. She always drinks her water quickly. With her skills she always wins, but she let's them try again until they eventually die.

There's poison in the ice, as the other person drinks their water slowly they allow the ice to melt and release the poison into their drink. They do this because their too busy thinking to drink the water, the more retries they get the more confident they are that they'll get infinite tries and take less time thinking and more time drinking, although by now the ice melted and the drink was poisoned. Jewel, on the other hand, drank hers quickly so the ice couldn't melt so she was safe.

The reason why she did this is because she was kidnapped, although she was raped when this happened and had her arms cut so they could send the blood to her father and ask for a ransom. They did this every week and her father waited 3 weeks until he paid up.

After this she had become broken, not scared of anything except one thing.

She isn't anything in the village, apart from just helping out here and there.
