Features

Special: Suellen has the tendency to cross her arms and then tap her left arm with her right index finger while her arms are crossed. This usually happens when she is uncomfortable or when she's frustrated with someone/something. She'll do this if she's having a hard time understanding something/someone or if she's having a hard time seeing something correctly (because of her partial color blindness).

Hair: She has naturally bright blonde or as most would call it platinum blonde hair. It's also naturally wavy. It used to be longer but she cut it shortly after she joined the Union. Now she always keeps it cut just above her shoulders.

Eyes: Light blue with light brown rings around her pupil. Because of this she has very distinct eyes.

Body: She has a rather slim and fragile looking build but don't let that fool you. She's extremely agile and fast. She makes sure she's in shape so she can do whatever she needs to to take down any crawlers. She's also rather strong for a woman of her size and stature.

Personality: Suellen used to be and still is a very extroverted person. When she was in high school she tended to hang out with a large group of people. It didn't matter what background people had or what they looked like she would talk to everyone. Though there were certain people, arrogant and selfish people, that she chose not to associate with. She never desired popularity especially if it meant putting others down. Now as an adult not much has changed except for the loyalty and respect she had gained for her commanding officers. Suellen is strong willed and won't back down from a fight. She'll always choose to prove herself even if that isn't the smartest decision. Though she still takes her job seriously and will follow most of the orders she is given. She has a tendency to disobey if she feels strongly about something but that's only on rare occasions. She wants to be able to trust others so she makes sure people can trust her. To sum up her loyalty, if it came down to her life or the union leader's life she would gladly sacrifice herself to protect him.

Relatives: She has plenty of relatives but she's only ever really connected with her Grandpa, Matthias Snow, because he was a general in World War II.

Backstory: Suellen was born to a family of hard workers. Though her parents had high academic hopes for her she never got their standards. Her sister was always at the top of her class, while Suellen was never the best at school in general. When it came down to it she possessed more of what people called street smarts than school smarts. She would much rather have spent her time with friends or even just living life to the fullest. School frustrated her no matter what she did. When she was a freshman their school was visited by people from the army and that's when she fell in love with the idea. Though, she had always heard war stories from her Grandpa, Matthias, so she was at least somewhat familiar with the program. Since that year she had planned on entering the military and doing something more physical rather than mental which was what she was good at. Plus she wanted to prover her mom wrong. She had always been told by her that she'd be rejected or kicked out. By her senior year she barely graduated, though that was the least of her worries. She had been preparing herself for when she took her recruitment test. She ended up getting in and joined the Marines. She took it as a great honor and worked hard in order to become a good soldier. In the Marines she learned how to fight and use different weapons. She was pushed to all of her limits and she turned out to be one of their best recruits. Not only were her skills shaped but also her personality. She learned to be more respectful towards others especially higher ranks than herself. The Marines was actually where she met her first love. They both knew it was against the rules but she made sure it never interfered with her duties. She was supposed to stay in the Marines longer than she did but when the crawlers started appearing they sent special forces to fight them. She had been a part of the troops that defended people and tried to eliminate the crawlers but things went terribly wrong. During the mission her lover ended up getting attacked and killed. She had tried to stop it but the crawlers were too much for them. She was injured but did end up getting away from the scene per her captain's orders. They knew this was something else and more would have to be done to stop these creatures. After the crawlers invaded and started kidnapping people she learned that her parents had died trying to defend her sister. The crawlers had been looking for young females and found Christine so they took her for their own purposes. She wasn't entirely devastated because she knew she couldn't let her emotions get in the way but she did let that feed her hatred for the creatures. She wanted to protect people from the monsters that took her sister. Not too long after she ended up getting ordered to work for the Union to which she didn't argue. She felt the Union was on to something. Even when the Cullineers had been formed she didn't trust them. She respects the Union leader and is extremely loyal to the Union. She has been ever since she joined.

Health: She has tritanopia (blue-yellow color blindness) but she's never let that stop her from doing anything she wanted to do. The only requirement from the Marines was that she was able to distinguish between red and green which she easily did. Though she doesn't see things the same as most people she tries to use it to her advantage. Because of her color blindness it's easier for her to see stark differences in specific environments, making her extremely observant and good at spotting things. Other than that she's usually healthy. She keeps herself fit and makes sure to eat a healthy diet.

Other: The reason she cut her hair was because she thought it would only get in the way while she worked. Plus the guy she was in a relationship with before everything happened had always messed with her hair and complimented it. So she also cut it to keep herself focused. She has multiple scars from her missions but one that stands out in particular is a scratch (claw marks) on her rib cage. She got it from her first mission dealing with crawlers.
