Features

Special: Because of his Gazon genes he has cat like ears instead of human ears making it hard to hide his genes.  He wears a beanie almost all the time in order to appear like a human and hide his ears.  He also rarely smiles with his teeth since his canines are sharper than normal.  His sense of smell is better than that of a humans which he uses to his advantage.

Hair: He has chocolate brown hair though it feels more like really soft fur.  One of the perks of being part Gazon.  Plus his hair is always sleek and nice looking when he's not covering it up, though he usually does

Eyes: They're a unique grassy green with hints of yellowish brown near his pupil.  He has naturally cat like eyes with slits for pupils however he wears dark brown contacts that make his eyes stand out less and look more human like (round pupils)

Body: He has a lean body type that was meant for speed, agility, and endurance.  Not so much brute force and strength.  This gives him an advantage when he needs to run away from someone or traverse intricate terrain like buildings.  He's especially good at climbing.

Personality: Rune tends to keep to himself when it comes to most things.  He has huge trust issues because of the fact that the Gazon half of him is hated by every other species.  He especially has trust issues because of what happened to his half-siblings.  He's very secretive and won't open up about anything unless he has somehow found a way to trust you.  He will lie to protect himself and won't hesitate to escape a risky situation.  He is good with words especially since his life depends on them.  He wouldn't be able to survive if he couldn't lie and get himself the things he needs.  However, he is very nervous around anyone that seems to be a bounty hunter or authority figure.  He is confident in his pickpocketing abilities and knows how to steal almost anything he needs.  He justifies it in his mind by telling himself if he didn't he wouldn't be able to survive.  He's not a bad person, he has just been mislead in life.  He feels like he can't get close to anyone without them betraying him.  If someone really got to know him or took the time to observe his actions they'd realize how lonely he really feels.

Relatives: None that he cares enough about to remember.  None that care or know enough to reach out to him.

Backstory: Rune was the product of a Gazon trying to keep Gazon genes in the pool of existing races.  His mother didn't really care about him as much as she did the genes he carried in his DNA.  He was the third child she had had though like himself his siblings were hybrids.  None of them were fully Gazon but that didn't matter to her.  She raised him until he was around five.  That's when she ultimately gave him to a trusted friend and then disappeared.  She had done that with all of her children which allowed Rune the chance to grow up with his brother and sister.  Sure they all had their differences but they still treated each other like any siblings would.  When he was around fifteen he and his siblings decided to sneak out and explore a bit.  They never really had a chance to since their Gazon genes were so noticable and they knew they'd be persecuted.  However once Rune had a taste of the outside world he couldn't get enough, thought that would quickly change.  One night while his siblings were out running an errand, as they had called it, they had been captured by bounty hunters who sold them to a rich collector.  The only reason he found out was because the townspeople loved to gossip.  When he realized what had happened he tried everything in his power to find them though it was too late.  His siblings had been killed because of their valuable genes and attributes.  He never did find out what had become of them.  He just knew he had to keep his secret or pay dearly for any slip ups.  He ended up running away from the trusted friend and finding a different town/city to live in.  He wanted to get away from where people might be able to recognize him and start new.  He mostly kept to himself but also went into town for things from time to time.  He mostly stole what he needed to survive and still does depending on the item.  He's still looking for his mom and any information on her as he's not sure if she's dead or not.  He does however have to be careful where he shows his face because his father is a well known businessman in some cities and he does have a lot of his father's facial features.  That's one reason he usually goes with his mother's last name not his father's.

Relationships: None

Health: He is for the most part healthy.  His contacts hinder his eyesight and depth perception a bit which is why he tried to wear them as little as possible and his beanie hinders his hearing slightly though he's gotten used to that.  He relies on his excellent sense of smell to help him out.
