Personality: Mara is the exact definition of extrovert.  She doesn't have a problem talking to anyone even if she has no clue who they are.  She's also a complete flirt which can get her into trouble, not that she cares.  She purposefully uses her charm to manipulate both men and women.  Though she doesn't usually do it to just any man or woman.  Usually if she tries to flirt and manipulate a person it's because she thinks they deserve it.  She won't prey on anyone she thinks is innocent or doesn't deserve the heartbreak she can dish out.  Don't misunderstand, she'll still flirt with just about anyone but she won't go out of her way to hurt someone if they don't deserve it.  Other than her manipulative nature she can be pretty feisty especially when it comes to verbal disagreements.  She can be very sarcastic and knows exactly what to say to push someone's buttons.  She is also very clever and can usually get herself out of trouble.  Even though she knows a lot about other people there isn't much known by others about her.  She purposefully keeps her past hidden away and keeps walls up when interacting with anyone.  No one has gotten through those walls yet and she doesn't plan on anyone ever finding a way.  Part of her is terrified of that ever happening which is one of the reasons it hasn't happened yet.  If you try to get close to her she will push you away no matter what.

Backstory: Mara was raised from a young age by Archon and Daeva Hazeen which is why she took on their last name when she got older.  To her they were her parents and she loved them both.  Though when she was around 7 her mom was killed by an angel.  It had really been an attack on her father so as to punish him for his actions.  Mara was devastated and didn't know how to handle the situation.  Because her mom had died while trying to protect her, Mara's father blamed her for his wife's death.  He locked her up in a small room for 3 years and only gave her enough food and water to keep her alive.  One day she finally figured out a way to escape and as soon as she could she ran away from the house and him.  Never once did she look back because she knew if she did she wouldn't be able to leave.  She spent the next 8 years learning how to survive on her own in a world that was filled with hate.  She happened to find out about Nightshade Academy and decided it'd be a good place to learn new things while also being a great place to hide from her father.  She knows he is still looking for her but she also knows she's more clever than he is.
