Personality: Finn is actually a really complex, but great guy overall. He's a goofball that likes to have fun with friends and make jokes. Though, he's also serious about what he does. When he's performing he loses himself in the performance and lets out a side of himself that he usually keeps hidden. On stage he's confident and almost fearless. Also, despite the fact that he can't really dance, he tries his best with everything he does. When he isn't performing he's right back to his naturally dorky and somewhat awkward self, though he does know how to make others laugh. He's a natural leader and cares about everyone, even sometimes when he shouldn't. He's easily trusting and can be a bit naïve, but trusts his gut with most things. He's the type of guy that hides his own stress and problems to help others with their stress and problems. This causes issues however, when he gets overwhelmed or too stressed he can "explode" on people. He is never proud when this happens which is why he tries his hardest to keep it from happening. It's not easy to get him to open up but once he does he tends to spill everything, which is both good and bad depending on who the person is.  He is split between the Glee club and lacrosse but makes both work.  He doesn't let anyone discourage him from doing either. In all honesty he's a pretty good friend to have.

Backstory: Finn had somewhat of a tough childhood. His father left him and his mom when he was very young, around 4 or 5. He grew up with just his mother but as he got older she started bringing different men home. He's had to take care of himself and his mother for a while. Usually his Mom's "relationships" don't last very long. She is somewhat of an alcoholic but still loves Finn. He makes sure to help her out but it is hard on him. To distract himself from his troubles and the stress he would sing. He always sang alone in the shower or in his room when his mom was out. Always in an isolated place. One day while he was on a walk, to relieve some of his stress, he started singing along to the music he was listening to. He didn't notice the looks people were giving him as he kept walking. Someone ended up stopping him and complementing him on his voice which helped him a bit. He decided to join the glee club at school to see what he could do and he ended up falling in love with the club. The club itself and just hanging out with people has helped his mental state a bit.  His best friend, Brett, did end up needing a new place to stay so he let him live with him for the time being.  He was more than willing especially since he had a feel for what he was going through.  Since Brett moved in Finn's mother has cleaned up her act a bit and is there to help more often.  She even has a steady job so she can actually support them.  He's had many struggles in his life but right now everything seems to somehow be going right.  He's in the best place mentally and he's got the glee club and the lacrosse season to look forward to.  Plus he has Brett to help and talk to if he needs it.

Other: He's the captain of the lacrosse team, the Bexley Bengals, and also the co-leader of the glee club.  Really he only has one really good friend and that's Brett.  He's also amazing at the drums.
