He usually wears dark clothing, jeans and converse.  *Note - He ALWAYS wears long sleeves no matter the occasion, for reasons he will NEVER mention.

Personality: Dan is basically an introvert.  Sure he's confident in himself and his abilities, but he's just not confident when it comes to talking to other people, which in turn leads to him being very blunt.  He won't hesitate to tell you exactly how it is.  He's quiet when he's around the group and he really doesn't share much about himself, if at all.  He keeps his business to himself.  Sure he's distant but he truly does enjoy his friends, not that he'd ever admit that.  He enjoys their company and honestly hanging out with them in general.  The only problem is that he's afraid they won't accept him for who he is.  He keeps walls up so that they can't really hurt him.  He's the type of person that will leave them before he can be left behind.  It's a stupid fear but he truly does fear they'll abandon him.  He doesn't have any really close friends but if someone were to befriend him and break down his walls they'd get to know the great guy he really is.  He's funny, kind, caring and honestly pretty good at advice and helping people.  Most just don't see that side of him because he doesn't like showing it.  He likes to keep up his tough and quiet facade.

Backstory: He was actually given up when his mom gave birth to him.  She was 16 at the time and just couldn't take care of him.  He spent a few years in foster care until he was adopted at the age of 6.  He spent a few months with that couple but they ended up changing their minds and sent him back.  It broke his heart.  He spent a few more years in foster care until he turned 10.  He was adopted by a nice family.  He now had parents and two siblings, though he has always been distant with them.  He's grown to call them family and love him but he shows it in his own way.  He's honestly a complex person to understand but his family understands him.  However they didn't at first and he fell in to a dark period of his life.  He became very depressed and did things he isn't proud of.  There were a few incidents and hospital visits but he's better now.  He knows that he is loved by them and has really accepted them as family.  When he first joined the friend group he was looking for people that he thought he could connect with.  He ended up enjoying hanging out with them and so he still does.  Most of the friend group hasn't really picked up on how he shows that he cares though, to most he seems distant and mean.

Likes: Listening to music, playing the guitar, drawing/sketching, reading, secretly hanging out with the group, and sometimes talking to The Artsy Fartsy.

Dislikes: Being talked to too long, someone saying he's not good enough, being alone/abandoned, people saying bad things about his friends, sometimes The Meme God's humor/annoyingness, and talking about his past.

Other: The Meme God thinks he is a demon which honestly doesn't surprise Dan.  If he didn't know himself he'd think he was a demon.  Also, he does suffer from occasional panic attacks but that only happens when something drastically negative or surprising happens.
