Personality: Ben can be a little too trusting at times.  He is very open-minded and outgoing.  Despite his tough and cold hearted appearance, which he usually has to put on for his job, he's actually a giant teddy bear in the inside.  He's usually very open about how things make him feel and won't hesitate to let you know if you hurt him or upset him in anyway.  He believes in love at first sight and believes you'll only feel that way when you meet your soulmate.  He can be very protective in general however he would be very protective of his soulmate, especially with everything that's been going on.  He's also a very loyal friend and won't betray or lie to anyone unless they betray him.

Background: Ben grew up in a kind and caring environment.  He always wanted to be a police officer when he grew up because he loved keeping people safe and doing the right thing.  When he graduated from the police academy he was actually asked to become a part of the FBI.  He took the job and became a field agent.  He mostly dealt with highly dangerous criminals and did some of the more dangerous work.  When they started working cases where soulmates had turned on their significant other he noticed the number of deaths rise.  When it was clear there was something going on there wasn't much the FBI could do but protect their own families and try to survive this epidemic.  He ended up taking some time off to check up on his family and figure out what was going on.  When he found out his sister had been killed by her husband that's when he knew he had to figure out what had happened.  He is very determined to save as many people as he can from this unknown problem and fix what happened.  Because of school and his job he hadn't really had time for marriage or dating which is why he hadn't been paired with anyone yet.

Strengths: He has police and FBI training which enables him to be great with close quarter combat.  He is also an exceptional marksman.

Other: He is very good with a gun and actually owns a few of his own because of his job.  He uses them sparingly because he hates the idea of killing unless he absolutely has to.  He's trained to fight in close quarters which is also one of the main reasons he's survived so long.
