Backstory: In this Au, Ebany is the adopted granddaughter of Queen Victoria and serves her as her royal highness's rose and sword. She grew up with Ciel and Elizabeth and as children, she and Ciel made a pact, that they would be brother and sister in arms. Once that was made, Ebany didn't want any secrets between them, unless it was something personal. She decided to reveal herself as a Phoenix hybrid, fortunately, Ciel reacted well. "You're the angel that will protect me, and I will protect you!" He proclaimed, oh how innocent he was back then! When Ciel was kidnapped, Ebany did all she could to find him and was elated when he arrived back. Unfortunately, she had gone a long time without proper rest since she was searching for him. Ebany greeted him with a huge hug and nearly fainted from lack of sleep. Fortunately, she recovered from it quickly before Ciel noticed. Ebany noticed Sebastian however, it surprised both of them when she bluntly asked, "Ciel... How did you summon a demon...?". You can guess the look of their faces. Ciel remembered what Ebany was and how she could sense other beings that weren't exactly human. Ebany introduced herself to Sebastian as her true self, "I am Ebany Rose Phoenix, first princess of the Rose Kingdom, the rose, sword adopted granddaughter of Queen Victoria. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.". The true self she knew herself to be anyways. After a few explanations, Ebany was able to get an idea of how Ciel summoned Sebastian, and she also received an earful from Ciel after he learned of what she's been doing the past month.
