Personality: Slightly egotistical and usually very sarcastic and snarky, Amy can be very hard to get along with. Scratch that, she's near impossible to get along with unless you have an endless well of patience and bedside manners. She believes that patients will put up with anything so long as the doctor is competent and, while she's usually right, it doesn't stop people from being mad at her. She's a relentless cynic and won't hesitate to discredit and disprove faith healing and any form of religion that she comes across. However, deep down, and we're talking very deep here, there is a good person waiting to break out. It just may take a good shock to do so.

Likes: Earl Grey tea, coffee, her work, Doctor Who (she won't tell anyone though), reading, fancy cars, expensive watches, British comedies (like Monty Python), being praised for her work and difficult medical cases.

Dislikes: Being underestimated, faith healers, having her methods questioned and religion (especially organised religion).

Strengths: Amy is an excellent doctor, incredibly smart and a very hard worker. The last two can often get overshadowed by her attitude as she often plays everything off like it's effortless but she did do a lot of studying. She just happened to be blessed with a photographic memory that made things a little easier.

Weaknesses: As I said, that attitude can be a major problem. What she needs is a big old dose of humble pie. Also, it wouldn't hurt if she could cool it on giving her opinion every time she wanted to give it. Not everyone wants it. Seriously...

Backstory: After seeing her single mother die from a brain tumour at age 16, Amy closed herself off from everyone around her by throwing herself into her studies and putting up her snarky and sarcastic wall. She soon got accepted into Harvard Medical on a scholarship and continued to push herself to be the best in her field, refusing to stop or slow down for anyone.

Other: Is severely allergic to peanuts.
