Personality: Mike is an åsshole. A charming åsshole, but an åsshole nonetheless. Always looking out for his own best interests and rarely taking other people's feelings into consideration, it's a miracle no one has managed to kill him yet. Many have tried though. He just manages to always outsmart any would be assassins. This prickly facade, however, hides a very broken man trying to hide his own pain.

Strengths: He is smart, a fact he knows and loves to shove in people's faces at every opportunity. He is also charming when he wants to be, able to woo most women and some men into his bed with a mixture of sarcasm and heavy flirting.

Weaknesses: As stated before, he is an absolute åsshole, something most people can pick up on if they spend more than a few hours with him. He also hates rules with a fiery passion, leading him to butt heads with many an authority figure.

Hobbies: He is a fan of cooking, finding the actions of doing so calming. He also enjoys crossword puzzles.

Likes/Dislikes: He likes booze, spicy food, being the smartest person in the room, arguing and gambling. He dislikes rules, sweets, idiots and himself.

Backstory: Raised by a doting mother and an extremely strict father, Mike was always the smartest kid around, often scamming the other kids out of their lunch money. When his dad found out, he was carted off to military school for a year or so before he got sent back home, more obstinate and rebellious than ever. He chose to become a doctor mainly because that's what his mom wanted him to become, although to anyone who asks he will simply say he did it for the prestige and money. He blames himself for his sibling becoming an 8 and only helps the rebels because he is loyal to his sibling and no one else.

Personality: Firm yet extremely understanding, Cat is the boss most people want to have. She is a very punctual person, arriving at least 15 minutes before any appointments she makes. She is extremely patient with newcomers and does her best to help them get adjusted where and when she can. But you do not want to get her angry. When you do, that's when the screaming and yelling starts and you will wish you had never opened your mouth. The one type of person that always manages to get her blood boiling is: attention seeking slackers who want everything handed to them on a silver platter.

Strengths: Her kindness and understanding, as well as her patience, makes her a great person to work with. She is also a rather good liar, a fact that manages to surprise a lot of people.

Weaknesses: Cat will avoid confrontation for as long as she possibly can, often sending a few mixed signals. She is also extremely stubborn, refusing to listen to any argument when her mind is made up about something.

Hobbies: While her job doesn't give her much time for hobbies, Cat does enjoy boxing and weight lifting.

Likes/Dislikes: Cat is a fan of sweet food, being able to relax, the rebels, people who appreciate her hard work, her kitchen staff and someone cooking for her. Cat cannot stand avocados (she finds the texture offputting), being underestimated, slackers, entitled people and anyone unwilling to put work into something.

Backstory: Born illegitimately to an 8 drug user and a 3 engineer (who became an 8 soon after Cat's birth), Cat saw from the moment of birth how unfair life could be and how much the system was broken. The moment she discovered she loved cooking, she used this passion and drive to claw her way to the top of her field and into the palace kitchens. She quickly became a rebel soon after she entered the palace kitchens, wanting to help bring the entire system down from the inside.
