Background:

Ben was born with little to no Curse Energy, so you can imagine the pain and discrimination he suffered from the Zenin clan, which his mother was from. He was given the Heavenly Restriction which took away his Curse Energy in exchange for incredible physical prowess, it still lead to him being ostracized and abused by his family for it. He would be thrown into pits of Cruse Spirits by them in hopes of him dying, but in reality it helped him

He got faster, stronger and better in combat due to him sneaking in Curse tools to kill them. Thus resulting of him becoming a cold hearted man who cared for nothing and wanted nothing more than killing the Zenin clan, who destroyed his life. This continued until he meet a women who managed to change him for the, which made him abandoned the clan and take her last name
