After I left King for the better, things only got worse. I started to regret my decision every single day because I was so attached to him but I knew he had done me so wrong to ever look back. I'd been the fool the whole time we were together and he's not understanding that I chose Maurice to have something new. He doesn't cheat or lie, he only hits me from time to time and I was gonna stop that.

"Mommy can we go to grandmas house tonight"? Kharo asked laying across my bed with his siblings
"Go call her and see because you guys have school tomorrow" I told him making them all smile and run to their playroom

Hours later Tyra appeared at my room door
"Girl get your ass up and go talk to him" she told me pulling my arm
"Mama"! I screamed at her
"Ain't no mama, do you want my son or Maurice because you need to get it together Treasure" she told me laying with me

"I want King mama, these whole five years I've been trying to move on but i can't. It's so hard to get over your first everything" I told her
"King was your first"? She asked
"Yes. My first actual boyfriend, first love, first kiss, first time kist everything" I told her

"Just talk to him as an adult Treasure, you're about to be 25 and you have 3 kids that aren't getting any younger baby. What they see soaks into them like a sponge and I know King is trying hard as well" she rubbed my face consulting me

"Ok mama I'll drop by once you guys leave" I said walking over to my dresser to find a quick outfit to stop by Kings house. Maybe everyone was right, I mean he may have a little attitude with me right now but we have been through so much over these past 7 years.

"Bye mommy" the kids said in unison hugging and kissing on me
"Bye" I told them watching them walk out

As soon as the door shut tears flew out like a water faucet. I really betrayed my kids by letting Maurice do those awful things to me in front of them, and if he really loved me like he said he did he wouldn't have put my kids at risk of seeing that.

The whole drive to Kings house I called him hoping to apologize for the meltdown I had earlier and just move forward with our lives. After all I never gave the ring back, I wear it on a small necklace around my neck.

Pulling into his driveway I hopped out looking at Money who was looking crazy
"Oh shit you and my bro good now" Money asked smiling at me
"I'm trying to get there but he was wrong as well" I told Money and he nodded

"Yeah he was, Millie and Kairi just left to go get ice cream. Stop back by once you and my mans finish talking" he hugged me walking over to his house.

Lights flashed and my stomach caught butterflies. I was so nervous doing this because I didn't necessarily know where we stood but I would like to know.

King hopped out walking over to the passenger side opening the door and the girl from Waffle House stepped out while he grabbed her bags.
"Kairo could I talk to you for a second" I asked him

Removing the bags from the car I heard the sound of Treasure's voice and that scared the fuck outta me
"Kairo could I talk to you for a second"? She asked me while Yasmine asked for the keys

"The door unlocked just go and and make yourself at home" I told her smiling watching her walk away.
"So are you guys a thing"? Treasure asked
"Why it matter shorty and you got a man go worry bout him" I told her trying to walk away before I got angry and choked her bipolar ass out.

"No I don't King I was hurt! You hurt me beyond my limits so I needed time and space so who the fuck is she" Treasure punched my chest
"A friend" I responded quick cause she hit hard as fuck

"Go get that bitch out now nigga you got me fucked up! Ain't no bitch bout to stay where I laid my fucking head no" she punched me in the stomach repeatedly so I picked her up by the neck forcing her legs on my waist
