The next morning after the last night at the party, inside the Institute in the cells where Valentine is, he is in his cell all chained up, and has a muzzle around his mouth. Since what happen yesterday after what he tried to do to Magnus Bane, Alec make sure that he is restrain and not be able to move.

When Valentine remember what he almost did to Magnus, he couldn't feel more connected to him than ever, when his lips touch the warlock's lips, he understands why Alec loves Magnus so much. Magnus have a special kind of magic that doesn't need an antidote.

He have started to realize now, that he wanted Magnus Bane and he wanted him now, as soon as he escaped from the Institute, he will order his Circle members to capture him and not hurt him, and bring Magnus to him.

'I see why Alexander loves Magnus Bane so much, he is really magical, and he is just plain gorgeous.' Though Valentine as he smirk evilly through the muzzle.' I need to have him all to myself, as soon as I get out.'

Then after a few minutes later, Clary and Jace have both arrived at Valentine's cell to talk to him, and then as they both arrived, Jace started to remove the muzzle from Valentine's face so he can talk and then Clary was the first one to talk.

"Okay Valentine, we want some answers right, and if you even think about lying, I will use that agony rune in you, and I mean this time." Said Clary as she glared at Valentine.

"Ah Clary, you are just like your mother, when I fell in love with her." Said Valentine as he looks at Clary.

"Wow, you really are a monster, like a sick one if you ask me." Said Jace as he glared at Valentine." So why don't we start on why you were trying to torture my parabatai's warlock boyfriend yesterday?"

"But not just a warlock, why don't we start on why you almost try to rape Magnus Bane, the High Warlock of Brooklyn?" Said Clary in anger.

"Apparently I couldn't control myself, I understand why Alexander Lightwood loves him so much, he is all powerful." Said Valentine as he smirk evilly.

"You do not get to talk about Alec, and if you even dare to mention about him and Magnus, I will. . ." Said Jace as he glared at Valentine.

Before Jace could speak more, Clary puts her hand at Jace's shoulder to calm him down, and then she started to flare at her monstrous father and then she have started to speak.

"Okay, Valentine why don't we make this clear, you better answer or will do something way worse than the chains you are in." Said Clary in anger." Why did you tormented Magnus Bane?"

"Apparently I couldn't help myself, I understand why Alexander loves him so much, but there is one thing I don't understand." Said Valentine as he looks at Clary and Jace." Why does Magnus Bane help all of these Shadowhunter's, when he can become a Circle Member Warlock, and be at my side?"

"What?" Asked Jace as he and Clary were shock to what Valentine say.

"The thing is, my Circle Member Shadowhunter's are one of the strongest ever, and the Shadowhunter's here are so weak." Said Valentine as he smirks evilly.

"Okay, now you are crazy in the head." Said Jace in anger.

"But you know, that Magnus Bane is really something, when I'm in his body it was great, I wonder how good body is when I'm still in mind?" Said Valentine as he smirk evilly.

That got Clary and Jace to get so angry at what Valentine have just said, they couldn't be even more disgusted by the man in front of them. Jace was so angry, that he started to swing a punch at Valentines face, which got him to bleed.

"How dare you say that, if it were up to me right now, I will kill you right here and right now!" Said Jace in anger.

"Even if you could, you won't stop me anyway, and I bet that Magnus Bane will leave Alexander to the dust, and be with me." Said Valentine as he smirk evilly.

"Magnus will never join you or your stupid Circle Member Shadowhunter's!" Said Clary as she glared at Valentine." You better sit tight Valentine, in a few hours the Clave will come, and we will sent you to Alicante where you will rot for the rest of your life."

"We'll see about that." Said Valentine as he smirks evilly.

Then Jace and Clary glared at Valentine one last time, and then they started to leave the cell and started to go back upstairs to meet Izzy and Simon, once Valentine was all alone, he started to laugh a bit because he had a thought that he will break free soon.

Meanwhile back at Magnus's loft, inside the bedroom, Alec was waking up from he sleep, then he look to see Magnus in his arms and sleeping with head on his chest. Alec smile at how peaceful Magnus is when he's sleeping.

Then Alec started to move slowly, then places Magnus head at a soft pillow, then he turn to him and smile at how beautiful he is when he's sleeping, even without his makeup, then Alec trace his hands around Magnus face gently and smile. Then Chairman Meow started to come in the bedroom and jumps at the bed and got Alec to look at the cat and smile.

"Good morning Chairman Meow." Said Alec as he smiles at the cat.

Then the cat have started to go to Magnus and rubs its head at Magnus arm but Magnus didn't feel it and kept on sleeping, and Alec couldn't blame him because he had slept well in days, and then he started to pet the cat gently.

"Don't worry Chairman Meow, Magnus is fine." Said Alec as he smile at the cat." He's just as tired that's all."

Then Alec started to get up a bit and the he started to check his forehead to see his temperature. It wasn't hot, and Alec was relieved for that. Then Alec slowly began to pulled the covers over him, then he look at Magnus one last time and kissed his forehead.

Then as he started change into his clothes, then he started to leave the bedroom, Chairman Meow followed Alec out of the bedroom and then the cat started to meow quite feisty.

"Let me guess, you're hungry now, aren't you?" Said Alec as he look at the grey furred cat." Come on, let's get you some food."

Then the cat started to followed Alec into the kitchen, then Alec found some fancy canned tuna for the cat, then he place the food in his bowl and set it there so he could eat, then Alec started to look out the window and sighed. It was still 8:30 in the morning and something terrible had happened yesterday.

Something that Alec hoped would never happen again, Valentine tormenting the one man he loved, the one man who made him discover his sexuality and who he truly wanted to be and Alec couldn't be more happy to be with him and hope that he'll be able to protect him.

Meanwhile back at the Institute, Izzy and Simon were both at the main room waiting for Jace and Clary to return from Valentines cell, and then Simon started to look at Izzy.

"You okay Izzy?" Asked Simon as he looks at Izzy.

"I'm okay, I'm just really worried about Alec right now, I have never seen him that worried in his life." Said Izzy as she looks at Simon.

"Can you blame him, I mean he loves Magnus so much, and what Valentine did to him has cross the line." Said Simon as he look worried.

"I know, I hope that Magnus is okay." Said Izzy as he look worried." And I really hope that Alec is okay."

That got Simon to look at Izzy and holds her hand, which got Izzy to smile and Simon smile back. Then Clary and Jace have started to come in after their talk with Valentine, and then she started to ask them on how it go.

"How did it go with Valentine?" Asked Izzy as she looks at Clary and Jace.

"Good, in so far as I didn't knock him on his ass, which I would really love to do." Said Jace as he began to sit down.

"He said that ever since the body switch between him and Magnus, he felt something he had never felt before." Said Clary as she explains." Like way before when he fell in love with my mother."

"And did Valentine explain why?" Asked Izzy as she looks a bit nervous.

"No, he won't even tell us why he tormented Magnus." Said Jace as he looks at Izzy and Simon.

Then all of a sudden, the alarm have started to go off, meaning that someone have attack the Institute, then Jace, Clary, and Izzy have started to get their weapons and started to get ready to fight.

Meanwhile back at Magnus's loft, Alec walked over to the fridge and opened it. And then he grab an apple and bite into it, as he was closing the door. As he kept eating his apple he walked back to the bedroom and sat on the bed, opposite to where Magnus was sleeping.

He continued to eat the apple and then he started to look at Magnus and strike his face gently. He loves Magnus so much that he felt like he meant everything to him, he wanted to make sure that he is safe from any danger, and never gotten injured.

Then all of a sudden, his phone began to vibrated in his pocket, then he pulled it out and saw that it was Jace calling him. Then he started answered it and talked as quietly as he could because he doesn't want to wake Magnus up but let Jace here him as he talks.

"Jace, is everything okay at the Institute?" Asked Alec as he talks gently.

But before Jace even respond to Alec's question, the other end of the phone was completely loud and startling, there was sound of blades swinging and cries for help and pain at the other end of the phone, and it got Alec to stood up when he heard it.

"Alec you need to come here now, we're being attacked!" Yelled Jace from the other end of the phone.

"What?!" Said Alec in shock." By who?!"

"The Circle Members!" Yelled Jace as he felt like he was fighting. "They just attacked us a few minutes ago after me and Clary came back from talking to Valentine."

And then before Jace could respond something else, all of a sudden, there was a scream of pain coming from the end of the phone. Alec have recognized those screams anywhere and it was a unison of Izzy's scream and Clary's as well.

"IZZY! CLARY!" Yelled Alec yelled not caring abut his volume anymore.

"Alec, you have to come right now, we are being out numbered!" Shouted Jace from the phone.

"Hang on, I'm coming!" Said Alec as he stood up.

Then Alec have hung up and turned back to his beautiful warlock boyfriend and saw that he was still sound asleep. Then Alec knew that he hadn't been getting enough sleep lately, and he looked so comfortable to finally be able to rest his eyes. Alec walked over to his side of the bed and rubbed his head.

"I really wish I could give you a rune so you can be protected Magnus." Whispered Alec as he looks at Magnus. "I really wish that I could without hesitation."

Even though Magnus can't hear him because he is asleep, he shifted a bit when Alec is rubbing his hand on his head gently, and smile at bit when he is feeling his Shadowhunter boyfriend. Then Alec started to lean over to Magnus and kissed his lips.

"I'll be back Magnus, I promise." Said Alec as he looks at Magnus one last time.

Then as Alec stood up from the bed, he started to grab his bow and arrows and ran out the door of the loft. Then Alec turned to the closed door, he started to pull out his stele and drew a protection rune on the door before hiding it.

"I love you so much Magnus." Said Alec." And I will do anything to protect you with my life."

Then as soon as he was done drawing a protection rune at the door, he started to draw an agility rune on his forearm and running off to the Institute to go help his parabatai, his sister, and friends.

Meanwhile in the cells, Valentine started to hear the screams coming from above the Institute and that got him to laugh at the sounds of the screams, he might have been tightly restrained, but he knew he was getting free at any moment now.

He knew that the Circle members had found him in the Institute, then as he laughed, he heard the sound of footsteps coming closer, and it made him turn his head to his cell bars and smile. A few Circle members were holding Clary and Izzy. Their heels were clacking with each step they were forced to make.

"Took you all long enough to get here and free me from this place." Said Valentine as he smirk evilly.

Then one of the Circle members force Clary to open the door of the cell, once the door was open, they pushed Izzy and Clary inside as a few of them went to unlock Valentine's chains with their steles, and then Valentine started to stand up and stretch his muscles as he was free from the chains.

"Finally, it felt like too long with I was restrained by those chains." Said Valentine as he kept on stretching." Now then, since I'm free from this cell. . ."

Then after he was done stretching his muscles, he started to turn to Clary and Izzy, then they were cowering in fear because they had some injures from the attack upstairs and now that Valentine is free, they have no idea what he is going to them.

Then Valentine started to walk up to his daughter, which got Clary to get really scare that her father is now free from the restraining chains and then Valentine started grip her chin tightly, but Clary pulled away immediately and held onto Izzy, who also held her too.

"Where's the warlock Clary?" Asked Valentine as he looks at Clary.

"He's safe from you, so you forget about finding him, and I will never tell you where he is." Said Clary as she glared at him.

It got Valentine to get a bit angry that Clary didn't tell him where Magnus is, that he rewarded her with a slap on the face, then Izzy started to held her close so that they couldn't be punched for slapped or anything by Valentine Morgenstern, and then Valentine started to turn to Izzy and ask her the same question.

"What about you Miss Lightwood?" Asked Valentine as he look at Izzy." You know where the warlock is, so you can me where I can find him?"

"I'll never tell you where Magnus is, if you think that I will tell you where he is, then you can forget about it." Said Izzy as she glared at Valentine.

Then Izzy held on close to Clary and buried her face in her shoulder because she refused to even look at the man, then Valentine started to shrug and then he look over at his army of Circle members.

"Well then, if you don't know where the downworlder is. . ." Said Valentine as he looks at the girls." Then I should ask the Wayland boy upstairs to see if he knows."

Then Izzy started to move forward to try and protest Valentine from leaving the cell, but then Valentine just pushed her back to Clary, then as Valentine exited the cell, the Circle members locked the cell with the girls inside.

"Look after our two new hostages, I'm going upstairs to see the Wayland boy, and see if he could tell me where the warlock is." Said Valentine as he smirks evilly.

Then the Circle Members nodded their heads as they stay down at the cells and Valentine have started to go upstairs. Meanwhile up at the main room of the Institute, Jace was standing in a pile of debris, his arms held behind him by some of the Circle members and they held a seraph blade against his throat.

Jace was trying to break his arms free from the Circle members and rescue his girlfriend and sister downstairs from the cell, bit the members that were holding him were strong that he couldn't break himself free, it was like their grip was iron tight.

Jace growled in anger at the fact that he was being held captive from the Circle members and that his sister and girlfriend's safety were hanging at the balance by Valentine, but he was even more worried about what Valentine wanted from Magnus.

Then a few seconds later, Valentine have started enter the main room, then he started to approached Jace, with a push of Circle members behind him, and then Valentine have started to speak.

"I see that my men have managed to apprehend the strongest of shadowhunters. How does it feel Wayland?" Asked Valentine as he look at Jace." This is twice now isn't it that you're being held by my hand."

"Where's Izzy and Clary?!" Said Jace as he growled at Valentine.

"Oh don't worry about them, I haven't hurt them. . . Well, not yet anyway, but maybe you can prevent that." Said Valentine as he started to knelt down to face Jace." Tell me, where Magnus Bane is?"

"I'll never talk Valentine!" Yelled Jace as he spit in Valentine's face.

"Well then, will you talk once I carve your sister's chest in the shape of the agony rune, or I should do it to Clary?" Asked Valentine as he threatened Jace and move close and grab Jace's neck." Carve the agony rune right on her back?"

"Don't you dare touch them Valentine!" Shouted Jace in anger trying to get free from Valentines grip.

"Then tell me where Magnus Bane is and I won't prevent that from happening." Said Valentine as he look at Jace.

Then Jace started to bit his tongue so that he couldn't say anything, he knew that Valentine is a crazy man and he doesn't want to tell him where Magnus is, it got Valentine to roll his eyes and stood back up.

"Fine then, if you won't tell me where Magnus Bane is, then I'll just have to find him myself." Said Valentine and then he started to look at his Circle members." Keep them all here until the third Lightwood comes, let him rescue his family, and then we'll follow him to the warlock."

"What do you want with Magnus?!" Shouted Jace as Valentine started to walk away with some of his men.

Then Valentine stopped when Jace have ask him that question and then he turned to face him for a moment and smirk evilly at him.

"You'll see once I get my hands on him." Said Valentine as he smirk evilly.

It got Jace to growl at Valentine and then as he tried to break free, Valentine have left the Institute with some of his men, and Jace wanted to go after him but he couldn't because he was held captive by some of the Circle members, but he was more worried for Magnus and doesn't know what Valentine will do to him.
