The bell would ring any moment for lunch. You talked with Chan about the lyrics and his only advice was, "to write with your heart, not your head." Of course he would say a quote and you know what he means, but still. They were lyrics. You barely can even write a seven page essay. So as soon as the bell rang, you stood up.
You then turned to Chan. "I don't even know how I'm supposed to do that but whatever." Chan gave you a shrug in response and you looked to where Jungkook sat. The thing was that he disappeared and you frowned. "Where did he even go?"
Chan also stood up and looked to the spot. "Oh," He paused for a moment, thinking. "I think he likes to go outside or in the library. And here!" He handed you a piece of bread wrapped in packaging. "Don't forget to eat when you're finished."
You took it gratefully and waved bye to the trio that headed to the cafeteria. Clasping the bread in your hand, you decided to try outside first. You were met with only a couple of people here and there, but none of them were the one you were looking for. Deciding to go to the library next, you walked on.
Entering the library, you just realized it was a big room. Well, almost everything in this school was so large. Two stories tall with high ceilings and windows letting in sunlight at almost every side. The librarian's desk was right when you entered and so you continued walking on. On the ground floor were numerous tables that didn't have Jungkook sitting at them.
You sighed as you walked up the stairs and there were a couple of tables here and still no sign of Jungkook. You decided to go back to the cafeteria and chew out Chan for giving you wrong places when you heard a low voice softly singing.
You would recognize that voice. Slowly, you followed the voice to a corner of the library where you finally spotted Jungkook sitting by himself at a table. He had his sheets of paper in front of him with a pencil. He was softly singing his lyrics, his eyebrows twitched a bit as he erased some words and rewrote them starting the process again.
A small smile appeared on your face. He was passionate. Deciding you didn't want to be some creepy stalker watching from the shadows, you walked right in front of him and took a seat. He hasn't even noticed yet. "Hi Jungkook."
Jungkook immediately stopped singing and looked up. Once his eyes met yours, they widened slightly. "O-Oh, hi Y/N."
"Sorry, did I scare you?" You apologized to the shy boy.
"Mm, just a little." He lightly tapped his pencil against the table.
You said another sorry and placed your bread on the table and cut it in half. It was very messy but it was still ok. Maybe. "Here," You offered half to Jungkook. "You haven't eaten, have you? You just ran out of the classroom once the bell rang."
His eyes widened again as his mouth slightly parted open. "N-No, it's okay. It's yours."
"C'mon." You said. "Maybe eating something will help you get some inspiration."
Shyly, Jungkook took the half you were offering and took a small bite. He chewed happily on his piece while you chewed on yours in peace. Your eyes took in the different words scribbled on the paper. He had some crossed out, others with a question mark in red ink or the rest had phrases switched around.
"Are you having trouble with the lyrics?" You asked, still staring at the piece of paper.
Jungkook let out a small sigh. "Yeah... I don't have any inspiration right now."
"Ah, well I'm going to try and help you," You finished off the last piece of your bread. "I don't know much about the lyrics but I'll do my best, alright?"
Jungkook stared at you for a bit before he broke out into a huge grin. "You'll help me?"
"Of course." You smiled back. "I can call you one of my friends now, right?"
His eyes popped out and his mouth slightly agape. "Friends? You want to be friends with me?"
You blinked at the boy's confused expression. "Yes, why?" You questioned him. Did he not have many friends? Or were you his first friend?
Jungkook looked down at the table and the tips of his ears turned red. "Well... I'm just usually shy and I don't really make many friends. I prefer to sing instead."
"Oh, well that's a hobby you enjoy. I like how you sing." You complimented him and his face seemed to turn redder by the second. "So," You changed the subject quickly. "Where do we begin with these words?"
Jungkook pointed to the messiest section. "Right here... I don't know what to put."
"How do you get your inspiration then?"
Jungkook stayed quiet for a while. "I'm not sure. They just come to me."
"Well, how about after school today, let's go around town and sightsee." You suggested. "Maybe you can find some inspiration in the city." It was also an excuse to get familiar with the town.
"Around town?" Jungkook whispered to himself before he nodded. "Ok, let's do that."
"Nice. Well, I'm going to go and see if I can grab anything else for lunch. See you in class." You smiled at the shy boy and got up. "Hopefully we'll find some inspiration." You parted away from the boy who continued to look at you until you disappeared downstairs.
Jungkook swallowed nervously and let out a sigh he hadn't realized he was holding. Slowly, a small smile formed on his face. He can actually say that he has an actual friend now.

Before the last class ended, you explained to Chan on how you were going to help Jungkook on the project. Chan smiled at you. "Thank you. I'll be sure to work extra hard too."
You sent him a grateful grin and the bell rang. You went over to Jungkook's desk and smiled at the boy who jumped slightly at your presence. "Sorry, ready to get inspired?"
