Abruptly, the music cut off as did Jungkook to the unfinished part of the song. You were in amazement. From the composition of Chan and to the beautiful singing from Jungkook. If they were randomly paired up, they were far the best. Even if they were the first group.

Chan leaned into the mic. "Good job. You sound good as ever."

Jungkook took off his headphones and gave a soft smile. "Thank you." He collected his paper of lyrics and walked out of the room.

"You guys were amazing!" You excitedly said. "That was just..."

Chan laughed while Jungkook kept quiet but he had a faint blush on his cheeks. "Thanks, Y/N." said Chan as he turned off a few controls. He then looked through the program on his computer that had the instrumental. "So, Jungkook,"

Jungkook slightly jumped. "Uh yeah?"

"Why don't I adjust the tempo a little at the end of the second chorus to show the transition?" Chan clicked at a place that was unfamiliar to you. "That way it's a smooth transition and adds a crescendo when we pick up the tempo again."

"Y-Yeah sounds good." Jungkook stuttered a bit and went back to looking at the paper in his hands.

The three of you were in the room for another hour. It was amazing watching them work together. Chan was testing out the different parts he wanted during the third verse while Jungkook was writing down different lyrics. While working Chan looked a bit frustrated as he put on some headphones and was listening to the music he created. Meanwhile Jungkook's nose would scrunch up slightly as he didn't like the lyrics and would erase it quickly. Before you knew it, music class was over.

As everyone was walking back to the classroom, you happened to notice that Jungkook was walking alone. Was he not friends with Chan or anyone? Maybe he was just shy? You did notice that whenever he spoke, it was soft and he only did respond when you two asked him directly. Maybe he liked being by himself. It sort of made you a bit sad. It had to get lonely sometimes, right?

The next class began and surprise - it was chemistry. The teacher talked about different chemical reactions that you didn't bother following. You were decent in the subject but it confused you to no end. Still you had to sit through this class and another before you were able to go home.

It was a miracle when you heard the bell ring. You excitedly put away your stuff and quickly stood up. Jeongyeon and Nayeon came over to you. "Ready? We're going to go eat some food." Nayeon said as she adjusted her bag.

"I'm starving." Jeongyeon commented.

Chan finally put away his things and stood up. Your group walked out of the classroom and to the shoe lockers where you traded for your other pair. After everyone got their shoes on, you walked to the convenience store. Upon entering, it was the same as almost every other one in town.

You headed over to the chips aisle, looking for your favorite brand. Once you spotted it, you reached out to grab it when your hand rammed into another. Startled, you jumped and turned to look at the owner.

"Jungkook?" You tilted your head seeing him there.

Once you said his name, his cheeks flushed slightly. "H-Hi Y/N."

"Did you want them?" You offered the shy boy your chips. You couldn't help but be nice to him. He was too shy and you found it adorable.

He shook his head. "No! It's yours!"

"Ok." You grabbed the bag of chips and smiled at him. "See you tomorrow." And walked to the register.

Jungkook smiled a bit before he was looking at the other chips they had. As you went to stand in line, you had a deadpan expression on your face. There Nayeon was with a basket full of cup noodles and candy. She smiled at you with the biggest grin on her face. "Yes I'm buying all of this." She read your mind. "I need to treat myself and buy everything. I think I can afford it."

You laughed as she shrugged a shoulder. Once Nayeon went to the counter and put her items on the counter, the poor worker just sighed at the many items and started scanning them. Finally Jeongyeon came up behind you. "Is she really buying all those things again?"

"Again?" You commented as you turned to look at her.

"Yes. Sadly." Jeongyeon said as Nayeon carried her stuff away. You stepped up to the counter to buy your chips. After purchasing them, you went over to Nayeon who claimed a table and was already eating her cup of noodles. Opening your bag of chips, Jeongyeon came over. You three talked for a while until Chan finally came over..

"Did you get lost?" Nayeon joked around.

Chan sent her a smile. "Nope, just saw Jungkook and discussed our project for a bit."

Jeongyeon's eyes lit up. "How is the project going? We're almost done with rearranging ours."

Chan had gotten a bag of candy and opened it. "Just need the third verse and then we should be done." Then he turned to you. "Tomorrow, do you think you can help Jungkook with the lyrics?"

"Yeah sure," You ate two more chips. "Even though I don't really know how to write lyrics, I'll do something."

Chan gave you an amused smile that seemed strained. "I'm very glad that you have the confidence for our project." He said in a sarcastic tone.

"I don't know about music!" You whined and stuffed your mouth with more food.

Chan patted your head like a puppy. "It's ok. I'm sure Jungkook just needs something to get started with and then he can finish them up."

"Alright, I'll talk to him tomorrow then!" You answered happily, thinking that the shy boy could enjoy some company.

Laying in bed, you were scrolling through social media. Your mom was happy for you that you made some friends and encouraged you to hang out with them, so that was a happy start. Your step dad was also happy and brought home some really good food from a nearby restaurant. Feeling tired, you glanced at a couple of boxes that still held some of your stuff.

Eh, you would do it tomorrow. For now, you just wanted some sleep.

You set your phone down, already you set the alarm for tomorrow. Well, you'll just see if you can write some lyrics tomorrow with Jungkook. Or you'll probably won't be able to write anything at all.

i'm so sorry everyone! i got really busy since it was the end of my semester and was prepping for finals. i  didn't want to write for a while since 3 of my finals had essays to them that were 2000 words so that put me off writing for a bit :') but! i'm back now and i'll be writing again as long as it's a story that i love to do lol
