Jungkook's eyes watched you until you finally disappeared. And so now it can begin. Humming happily, he began to walk in a different direction - one which he would never take. He continued along the path until he reached his destination.

The flower shop seemed to intimidate him. It was almost mocking him like, hah, can't even buy flowers for Y/N? He glared at it and went in. The floral scent hit him in the nose. He saw the various flowers. He then began to browse, looking at all of them that the shop had to offer. Should he go for the classic roses? Jungkook paused, staring at the red roses. They were pretty and often the universal sign was love, right? He was startled as a friendly staff worker went over to him.

"Hi there!" The young girl smiled. "Anything I can help you with?"

Jungkook looked at the girl then went back to the flowers. "Which flowers are good to confess with?" He could feel a slight blush on his face as he said this. Ugh, it was a little embarrassing but he's going to go through with it!

The young girl giggled. Aw, this was cute! High school crushes always were. "Well, roses are always a good flower to start with but if you combine roses with the pink azaleas, it'll be extra special." She suggested but failed to notice that they did not have any. "Oh, I'm sorry." She apologized, thinking that had some. She racked her brain to find what other colors they had. "What about some black roses? They would make the red ones pop out."

Jungkook thought about it, a bit disappointed they didn't have any of those pink ones. He bit his lip in concentration. "S-Sure, I'll do that."

The girl beamed. "Sounds good!" She began to gather the flowers and started to put them together in a bouquet. Afterwards, she told him the payment and he paid using his allowance. It kind of made him feel giddy. He was used to paying for video games but never for flowers. Delicately, he took the bouquet of flowers from her. They were pretty and he was sure that you were going to like them. He stayed there for a moment, admiring the flowers when the bell chimed to signal someone else had entered the shop.

The girl smiled brightly to greet her next customer. "Hello sir! How can I help you today?" She noticed the expensive-looking suit and sunglasses he wore. It kind of intimidated her but none less, she was going to try her best. Awkwardly, she waited as the high school boy still stood there for a moment looking at the flowers and the man in the suit stood in the middle of the shop looking at the flowers.

At last, the man in the suit took off his glasses. "Are all the flowers good? You know, fresh?"

"Uh yes. There may be a couple that are a little old." She replied, a bit confused by his question.

"Okay, give me all of them except the ones that are old." The man answered and strolled over to the counter.

The worker choked on air. All the flowers?! "Sir, really?" She asked in disbelief, thinking that this must be a prank of some sort. Usually she can sell a bouquet here and there but everything?!

The man scoffed. "Yes. How much to deliver as well?" He started to bring out his wallet, ignoring the high school student.

Jungkook finally snapped out of admiration and noticed the whole commotion. Buying the whole store? He huffed. One day, he'll be able to buy a whole store for you. Jungkook's doe eyes finally met the man's. They both stared at each other for a bit, the pretty eyes scanned the high schooler and the man scoffed. He turned back to the worker and Jungkook rolled his eyes. Jungkook headed out of the shop to see an expensive car parked there. He frowned and continued on his way home.

He treated it as if it was fragile glass. The boy was careful not to bump into anyone and even crossed the street when there were large groups of people. At last he made it home and now he had to be sneaky. He definitely didn't want his parents finding out he had a crush and he knew they were going to tease him!

Carefully, he took off his backpack and removed a couple of notebooks and a textbook. Slowly, he placed the bouquet in there and sort of zipped the backpack halfway. Hopefully, the camera in his house won't capture the flowers. With notebooks and textbook in hand, he headed inside. Everything went smoothly especially with the fact that his parents weren't home yet!

He just couldn't wait for tomorrow.

Thankfully, his parents didn't mind that he was up early. The simple lie of needing to tutor someone did the job. Jungkook gathered his flowers tightly, trying to keep his heart calm as he walked to school early to place them in your locker. A blissful smile came upon his face as he thought of you. Soon, you'll accept his confession. He continued to walk until he spotted another figure this early in the morning. It was unusual. Who was even up at this time other than for the occasional workers going and coming from work?

He paused suddenly as the young male was jumping in place, looking like he was hyping himself up. In his hands was a small teddy bear with a red bow. He could tell he was a student as he was wearing a different uniform. Jungkook wasn't sure where though. And he didn't care.

Jungkook wished him good luck in his head as he continued to the school. Giggling with happiness, he wondered if you would have a surprised look on your face.

Your eyes widened in surprise at the bouquet of flowers that were somehow placed in your shoe locker. Seriously, the flowers looked perfect in there as if they weren't crushed by the confined space. On top of them was a similar colored note. You took the note and read the single sentence: Meet me on the rooftop after school? :) In your shocked state, you didn't even hear Jeongyeon calling you. "Are you okay? You're just staring- oh." She stopped, finally seeing the flowers. "So it really was a confession, huh?"

"Yeah." You slowly took out your shoes. "I'm just going to feel really bad." In all honesty, you weren't ready for a relationship. You just wanted everything to be laid-back for a bit. Was that too much to ask for?

ugh, sorry for a late update, i've been working on final projects this entire month and admittedly forgot to post. don't worry though, i'm still ahead by 6 chapters and i'm trying to figure out the ending. hope everyone's having a wonderful day! <3
