Gulf pov

The day I was waiting is today. Our graduation. I woke up early today to get ready and I should look good today. And it may be the last day for me and Mew to be close with each other. I know that P'Tae doesn't like me to be close with his boyfriend. Everytime I think of Mew being his boyfriend, it pains me. He should have been my boyfriend if I was not insecure and too late. Today I must say my feelings to Mew. I don't want him to accept me but I want him to know my feelings that's all.

And I gave gifts to my professors and my friends but I still have to give gifts to my close friends. And today I will give it. Hope Mew will like it.

I wore a formal white shirt and black pants. This is the dress code for today. All students in the university will be wearing the same dress.

And today we have an award ceremony too. I'm nominated as best footballer. And of course Mew is nominated as best musician which includes singing, drums , piano and guitar. He is very talented , I'm proud of him.

My parents and Mew's parents are coming for our graduation today. I'm excited to meet them. They are so sweet, especially Mew's parents. And Mew's parents are attached more with me than Mew.

I'm at the University now.

"Hey Gulf, you look handsome today!" Mild said to me.

"Are you teasing me" I smacked his head.

"Nooo, I was actually saying the truth this time. And remember something Gulf I have grown up , please don't smack my head naa." He said. I chuckled seeing his face. It's so funny.

"Let the future decide it and my parents are coming here today. I'm searching for them and where is Mew?" I asked him.

"Ohh I forgot, he was searching for you. He is near our department" Mild said. I really want to smack his head again.

"Okay I will get going."

"Okay"

I was literally running to my department. Mew is searching for me. This is the right time to confess my feelings.

"Hey Mew, I'm here. Why were you searching for me "

"Hey" he hugged me. I don't know how to respond immediately. I got my sence back and hugged him.

"My best friend Gulf I'm really happy that you are one of my parts of my life Thank You naa" he said while hugging me.

Authors pov

Gulf pulled back the hug and looked at Mew's eyes , it was glittering with happiness.

"I'm happy too Mew , I'm really happy to have you in my life and I have a gift for you." Gulf said.

"Wait Gulf, I will be the first one to give you my gift , so now close your eyes "Mew said, stopping Gulf from taking his gift out.

"Okay"

Gulf felt something sliding in his ring finger.

"Now open your eyes" Gulf opened his eyes. He was shocked because he bought a similar ring for Mew. What if Mew doesn't like it. His head was loaded with all negative thoughts.

"It's beautiful Mew so then I will get going" Gulf was about to move he was caught by his wrist.

"I want my present now" Mew demanded cutely.

"No Mew you won't like it for sure"

"How can I know without seeing it , so now show me it before our parents come here" mew said.

"Okay close your eyes" Gulf asked Mew.

Now this time Mew felt something in his ring finger.

Without Gulf asking him to open his eyes, He opened it. Mew had his tears in his eyes , that shocked Gulf.

"Mew why are you crying? Is this the worst, I will get something better for you" when Gulf was about to pull the ring from Mew's finger , Mew pulled his hands and hugged Gulf while crying.

"You bastard, I hate you" Gulf felt his heart broken into pieces.

"Sorry Mew I didn't mean to make you angry, wait why are you angry?" Gulf was confused this time. Mew started pouting.

'Mew please don't pout naa. I'm feeling different. I want to kiss you right away, but for god sake I cannot do it. I want to cry now' Gulf was mentally crying.

"You are the one stole this ring from me, I saw this ring the day before you bought it, it's my fault I didn't book it, and you bought it for me"

"Ohh sorry, I saw this and thought it will be more suitable for you so I bought it"

"But you like black and white right"

"And you like blue right? Why did you buy blue for me?" Mew was speechless.

"Because you bought it already , you stupid"

"That's right" they both laughed together.

"Should we exchange the rings , you like black and white so much" Mew asked Gulf.

"No, I let you have it. So that you can remember me always Mew" Gulf said.

"Okay as you wish"

"Mew I love you" Gulf said it aloud.

Before Mew could react. Gulf's mom came and hugged Mew tightly.

'Why no one let me talk to Mew in peace. Maybe I should try next time, please god help me' Gulf irritatedly prayed in his mind.

"My baby Mew. How are you, dear. Is everything okay, how is your boyfriend, how is his work" she didn't allow Mew to talk.

"Mae one by one. I'm not going anywhere and I'm good, everything is fine mom, my boyfriend is fine, yeah he is working good" Mew said while a little blush in his face.

"Don't be shy Mew" she pulled Mew down and "Are you planning to have kids now" she asked in Mew's ears.

"No mae, not now I'm really young for it" Mew whispered back.

"Wait mae, I'm here your son naa. You treat him as your own son, I'm sulking now" Gulf fakes sulk.

'I feel very happy that mae treats Mew as her own son' Gulf said internally.

"Why is my son sulking" someone came from behind.

"Mom, I miss you" Gulf said.

"I miss you too dear" Mew's mom said

"See mom they are having secrets"pointed Mew and his mae.

"If I come to know it I will surely share with you honey" she kissed Gulf's cheeks.

"Gulf now we are both the same. My mom only talks with you and ignores me. Now I'm sulking" Mew said.

'Actually we both know that our moms are like this. I love them both this way' Mew thought to himself.

"Okay keep sulking you both, graduation is going to get over, I saw someone calling the students" Gulf mom teased them.

"Yeah I heard too" Mew's mom joined her. Both their husbands come now.

"Congrats both my sons" Gulf's dad said.

"Waiting to see you both graduated boys" Mew's dad joins him.

"Okay we will take our leave. You all get seated in the auditorium. Wait for us to get out certificates" Gulf said while pulling Mew.

"Bye moms and dads" Mew said in a hurry. All the parents nodded.

(A/N They both forgot about the rings in their ring fingers)

In the auditorium...

Mew's dad name is Mason
Gulf's mom name is Linda
Gulf's dad name is Ethan)

"Linda I'm really proud today both our sons are graduating" said Ava.

"That's true Ava I was waiting for this moment for so long, I want Gulf to get committed too" said Linda.

"I was planning to get our sons married but my plan was shattered when Mew introduced his boyfriend to me" Mason said to Ava.

"Same with me , we had the same thoughts" Ethan said looking at Linda.

"Let them live their life hubby. We cannot control their emotions" Linda tried to explain Ethan.

"I forgot to tell you guys and even my wife. Ella is here with Mark and Sarah" Mason was scared now seeing his wife's angry face.

"Don't let me hit you at this age Mason , okay where are they now?" Ava said angrily.

"Tae has gone to receive them. They will be on time." Mason said with fear.

"Dad I'm here." Ella came to the auditorium with Mark, Sarah and Tae.

"Mea, Pho you both look very good today" Ella said.

"Ella come here don't stand for long you just had a surgery dear" Linda made Ella to his beside her.

"There we go, your son is going to receive his degree, mom" Tae said, gaining attention.

"First Gulf is going to receive his degree and then Mew will get right" Ethan asked.

"Yes Ethan" Mason answered.

After graduation ceremony...

"Mae we both graduated yaayyy" Mew was beyond happy while saying.

"Phi Ella how are you!" Gulf noticed Ella standing beside Mark.

"I'm fine see my own brother didn't see me but you did" she teased her brother.

"Phi I miss you naa where is my niece, I'm ready to carry her now" Mark passed Sarah to Mew.

"Be careful Mew she is too young. You should be more careful while carrying her" Mew's mom said.

"Let me teach him" Tae gets near Mew.

Tae taught Mew to carry his niece without making her cry since she is only 2 months old. And there was aww's and wow's coming from their families. On the other side , Gulf was getting uncomfortable.

"Next award is the best footballer and it goes to..." All heard the announcement and looked at Gulf , he was smiling brightly.

"Gulf from the Engineering department" Mew's mom came and hugged Gulf tightly.

"Go dear , the award is waiting for you" she said as Gulf nodded.

"And the next award is for the best musician and the award goes to... Mew from the Engineering department"

"Get her phi , I will be back naa" Mew kissed Tae's cheeks and handed Sarah to Tae.

"Can I ask something why all the engineers are so good in every field?" MC was commenting.

Gulf was waiting for Mew to receive his award and both can return together.

Gulf saw Mew getting down from the stage. He waved his hands so Mew could see him.

Mew saw Gulf and went to Gulf and happily hugged him.

(A/N they still didn't remember about the rings and didn't realise that the cameras were capturing their hugs.)

"And there is a special award for the best pair for the final project and it goes to the famous Mew and Gulf from the Engineering faculty" MC announced.

"Gulf they are calling us to the stage" Mew gained attention of Gulf who was stunned.

"Mew really I didn't really expect it" Gulf pulled Mew to the stage with jointed hands.

Tae pov

I'm happy to see my boyfriend graduating. His family is too nice to me. Even Phi Ella came to his graduation. I went to receive them , yeah secretly. It's a surprise for Mew but he knows that his Phi will surely won't miss his graduation. So I know that he will not get surprised.

As expected he didn't show any surprised reaction but he was happy to carry his niece. He is still a baby. He didn't know how to carry her so I helped him.

I was shy hearing aww's and wow's from his family members and Gulf's parents.

Gulf's parents are too sweet. They are more close to Mew than his own parents and they care about me a lot too.

When Mew was receiving his award I told everyone that I'm going to take Mew to Phuket for his graduation gift. So that I can take him right after the graduation is totally over. Of Course I was teased by parents and especially Phi Mark and Phi Ella.

An announcement was announced gaining my attention.

"And there is a special award for the best pair for the final project and it goes to the famous Mew and Gulf from the Engineering faculty" MC announced.

"Your boyfriend is indeed a best student Tae he managed to get this award with Gulf" Gulf's mom teased her son.

I know that Gulf was the one who helped Mew in the viva session. Gulf is best too. I focused on the stage.

"We can call them a couple rather than calling them as a pair I guess so" the MC teased. I was shocked what the hell was that. And I saw them both , who were clearly shocked.

"No we are not a couple" Mew defended himself and Gulf nodded together.

"Then what are the rings?" he asked Mew and Gulf. This time where we all saw the matching rings on their ring fingers.

"It's our graduation present , we both are close to each other and we grew up together so we had a similar taste. Don't misunderstand , Mew already has his boyfriend and he is our senior." Gulf told defending them both. I tried to cool down but my jealousy is not allowing me. Mew is mine , mine alone.

As soon as Mew came back to us. I bid a quick goodbye to parents and Phis and left the university with Mew in my arms.
