LEXI HATED THE feeling of being paralysed from the neck down, it felt de-humanising, she felt vulnerable, especially when Jackson, in his Kanima form, watching her, Derek and Stiles to make sure they didn't do anything that would jeopardise Matt's plans. Scott was shot, Lexi knew that much for sure, but she knew that he would be fine in a few hours, but that wasn't the problem, Melissa had seen it, by the sounds of her screams in the hallway — that was now the problem, and why he had healed without any medical attention afterwards. After Melissa stopped screaming at the sight of her bleeding son, Lexi heart Matt shout next, frustrated with everyone shouting at him and making so much noise that distracted him; he was sounding seriously unhinged the more and more he spoke and shouted at everyone. Lexi used to believe that Matt wasn't anywhere near scary like he thought himself to be, but right now, she couldn't be more afraid of him and his gun. Her heart sped up when Scott was pushed into the office with them, seeing Matt behind him, drips of sweat on his forehead and his gun still in his hand, playing out the next plan of his.

None of them knew why Matt was still here, since he had destroyed every single piece of evidence on him, in this building, there was no way that anyone could find him guilty anymore, there was no reason as to why he was still here after after everything he had done. "The evidence is gone, why don't you just go?" Scott asked, thinking the exact same thing as Lexi as the girl watched on the floor, her head leaning on Stiles' shoulder.

Matt scoffed when Scott said these words, looking at the werewolf like he was the most stupidest person on the world for even suggesting leaving, "You think the evidence mattered that much, huh? No, no. I want the book." He said, as Lexi furrowed her brows in confusion at what book he wanted, since she couldn't understand what book would be in the police station that he so desperately wanted, and by the looks of it, Scott had no idea what the boy meant by 'the book' either; when he asked Matt what book he wanted, Matt again, scoffing as he couldn't understand how Scotty didn't know what book he wanted, like it was obvious what book he wanted. "The bestiary.. Not just a few pages, I want the entire thing." He told Scott, as Lexi, Stiles and Derek exchanged a look, now knowing the exact book he wanted from them, but it was a huge problem, considering that it wasn't theirs, it was Gerard's, and it had been hard enough getting it to look at the Kanima pages from Allison.

"I don't have it. It's Gerard's." Scott told the boy in disbelief, knowing that it would have saved so many lives if he only mentioned the book before; all of this was unnecessary. "What do you want it for, anyway?" He carried on asking, as Lexi noticed how frustrated Matt looked, sweat still dripping from his forehead, even more than before, meaning that his plan probably wasn't going to plan, and he needed to figure something else out, fast. When Matt told him that he needed answers, no one understood what he needed answers for, he seemed to know everything there was to know about them all, including Jackson, he seemed to be doing fine on his own.. "Answers to what?" Scott asked, not understanding a single word Matt was saying.

When Matt lifted up his shirt to reveal his whole side being covered in scales, much like Jackson's, Lexi cringed at the sight, not knowing why he had begun to look like the Kanima himself; she instantly knew that this was why he wanted the book, but she hadn't read anything to indicate what was happening to him, in the book when Allison had given it to her to read over. "To this." He said, showing Scott the scales on his side that literally moved with him as he breathed, Lexi felt like she could puke at the sight of it. The girl didn't even know what to think about it all when Matt had eventually walked away with Scott, still keeping the gun aimed at him at all times — they were paralysed, watched by Jackson in his Kanima form to make sure that they wouldn't get up even when they were able to move, so they had no way of getting back to Scott, which is what they ultimately needed to do.

"Hey, Derek." Stiles spoke up quietly, all three of their eyes on Jackson standing guard at the door, looking back at them ever so often, "Do you know what happening to him?" He asked the older werewolf, hoping that he may have some insight in what was happening to Matt and why.

"You know, that book's not gonna help him." Derek answered, already knowing what was happening with Matt, "You can't just break the rules, not like this. The universe balances things out, it always does." He explained further, knowing that Matt wasn't following any of the rules to do with the Kanima and master, hence why he had scaled growing on his side.

"Is it because he's using Jackson to kill people who don't deserve it?" Stiles asked, trying to piece together the whole situation.

"I mean, did anyone he kill deserve to be killed?" Lexi asked, knowing that he had only been killing people that were in the swimming team, one even pregnant, she didn't believe that any of those people deserved to be killed for what they had done, or not done to him.

If Derek was able to shake his head in annoyance at the two teenagers, he would, "No, for killing people himself." He told Stiles and Lexi, as the girl was too afraid to take her eyes off of Jackson by the door, still.

"So, if Matt breaks the rules of the Kanima, he becomes the Kanima?" Stiles asked, trying to piece everything together with the little amount of information he was giving them, it's what annoyed Lexi most about Derek, the fact that he was always so vague every time they needed to know something, barely explaining anything to them, "Will he believe us if we tell him that?" The boy then asked, as Lexi couldn't believe that Matt would trust them if it sounded like that; it sounded like they just wanted him to stop doing all of this.

"No way." Lexi whispered, knowing she would be giving Stiles a look if he could fully see her face.

"Okay, he's gonna kill all of us when he gets that book, isn't he?" Stiles spoke up, making Lexi even more nervous than before. It would be incredibly easy for Matt to kill then all, even Derek, since they couldn't move a single muscle in their body. When Derek said 'yep', Lexi took a deep breath in, knowing that she should have found Lydia before leaving the party, if she died tonight, she would have never been able to say goodbye to her.. "All right, so what do we do?" Stiles asked, glancing nervously at Lexi at the sound of her sigh, wishing he could do something to make her feel better, but the truth was, he was just as scared as she was, and he didn't know what to do to survive Matt's wrath tonight. "Do we just.. Sit here and die?" He asked, when he heard a disgusting noise of skin breaking on the other side of Lexi. "What? What is he doing?" The boy asked Lexi, as the girl glanced down at Derek's leg.

Lexi didn't exactly expect to see Derek pushing his claws into his own skin and making himself bleed, and she didn't want to see that, either, not when they had already seen so much happen tonight in the station. "He's digging his claws into his leg, ew." Lexi told Stiles, instantly pulling her eyesight away from the older man besides her and looking up at the ceiling, trying to ignore what he was currently doing. When Stiles claimed that it was gross, too, they both shifted their eyes in each others direction, having never thought that at the beginning of the night, they would be completely paralysed and held hostage by Matt, of all people - Lexi thought that they would have a good night drinking, making sure Lydia had a good time, and having a good birthday herself, but the night had taken a turn for the worst, just like it always did when she hung out with Scott and Stiles together..

Not much time had passed as the three paralysed people laid on the ground, Lexi and Stiles knew that the only thing they truly could do, was wait for Derek to figure something out, to see if he could work out how to get them all out of this mess, but waiting was incredibly boring, and the girl in the middle could feel her heart speeding up every time Jackson came back into their line of vision, Derek pushing harder into his leg every time he heard it speed up. "So, is that hypothetical situation we talked about getting any less hypothetical?" Stiles asked, after they all sat in silence for a while, trying to listen to what Matt and Scott were talking about in the other room from them.

Lexi regretted looking down at the werewolves leg again, cringing when she saw that he was still digging his nails into his own skin - she always found that Derek was a strange man, but she knew that he had been brought up differently, he had a whole family of werewolves to grow up with, and Lexi just had her sister, mom and dad.. "I think so. I can move my toes." Derek answered Stiles, as the girl furrowed her brows in confusion, wriggling her own after those words escaped his mouth. She didn't know if he believed he was quickening the healing process, but she was sure that she was moving her toes, even if she couldn't see it for herself.

Stiles sighed, whilst Lexi felt bad that Derek had been stabbing himself harshly with his nails this whole time, only for it not to work for him at all. "Derek, I'm moving my toes right now, nothings you're doing is making it any better." The girl told the older man gently, feeling bad as he had been doing it for so long, believing that he could get up and help Scott against Jackson. The second the lights turned off, Lexi's chest tightened up, afraid of what was going to happen next, and she could feel every single heartbeat against her rib cage, threatening to explode at any moment. Even though Scott and Stiles may be used to things like this happening to them, since they had known about werewolves and such a lot longer than she had, and had been dealing with it for much longer; Lexi still didn't even know much about what she was, whereas Scott knew for sure that he was a werewolf.. When the alarms began to sound throughout the station, she hated that she couldn't see anything besides the flashing yellow lights from the other rooms, their room in complete darkness for a few moments before smoke started drifting in, and gunfire began to shoot through the windows of the main room, shattering them all in the process. "What's going on?" Lexi asked quietly, not wanting to make too much noise and alert where they were.

Derek was about to answer, when Scott came rushing into the room, checking that all three of them were still on the ground before crouching down and beginning to lift Stiles up, "Take them both, go!" He shouted at Scott, as he began to pick himself up by himself, Scott struggling to crouch down with Stiles hanging onto him to help Lexi up. She was beginning to feel her fingers and hands again, so the second Scott boosted her up, she tried to help out by grabbing a fistful of Stiles shirt on the boys shoulder, and trying to keep herself upright, even though she still couldn't feel her legs as much as she'd like to.

Lexi didn't want to get sliced apart by Jackson, that was the last way she wanted to go, but by the looks of how the events of tonight were going, she didn't know if she was going to die the way she wanted to. The girl grunted as Scott pulled her along with Stiles on his other arm, she felt bad things approaching, and she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was going to get hurt tonight, something bad was going to happen, but she didn't know exactly what. Looking around, Lexi could see that Scott had pulled both of them into a room, hearing Jackson approaching behind them, the girl used all of her energy to push her leg out, helping Scott push the door shut in front of Jackson before he pulled her and Stiles onwards again, rushing through the hallway as they all heard Jackson punching through the doors to get to them. The girl was trying not to cry, the knowledge that if Jackson caught up to them, there wouldn't be much Scott could do to help and keep herself and Stiles safe, not when he had to keep the two of them held up on his arms, making sure Jackson couldn't get to them. He kept locking the doors behind them as Lexi kept her tight grip on Stiles, keeping herself in Scott's hold as he used his hand to pull the locks on - the locks were doing nothing though, as Jackson kept kicking the doors open, and getting closer to them.

She knew that Scott could see fine, with his eye sight being enhanced, but Lexi and Stiles could barely see a thing, the flashing yellow lights giving them the tiniest amount of sight, but not nearly enough that they could see properly where they were going. Lexi couldn't understand how she could feel her muscles more than Stiles could, but she had a feeling it had to do with the fact that Derek had healed, and since Deaton told her that she was linked to her pack, Derek must be in that pack, too. Scott pulled Stiles and Lexi into a dark room with a small light in the corner, giving them enough light to see each other, but hardly anything else. Jackson seemed to have stopped knocking the doors down to get to them, an eerie silence falling upon them all, causing them all to pause and watch the door in anticipation, heavy breathing being all they could hear; had Jackson given up? Lexi couldn't believe that he could have done so.

Lexi still had trouble keeping her head up, so when Scott lowered her down onto a chair opposite to Stiles, her head slightly dropped to the side, the girl grunting in pain as she felt her neck begin to ache from the way it was at an angle. She watched as Scott did the same to Stiles, letting him down a little more rough than Lexi, but still gentle, so neither of them hurt themselves in the process. "Don't move, either of you." Scott instructed them both, as Lexi raised a brow and Stiles gave him an incredulous look upon hearing his request, considering that neither of them could move many of their muscles - it just happened to be a one off, that Lexi managed to kick the door shut with the help of Scott pushing her into it, she knew that it must have been adrenaline helping her do so. Scott rolled his eyes at the two of them, "You know what I mean." He said, before rushing off, shutting the door behind him and leaving the two of them in the room, safely locked away from Jackson and the hunters.

"Does he expect us to sit here and do nothing? What if something's happening to your dad or Melissa?" Lexi asked Stiles in a hushed tone, making sure not to be too loud in case anyone was outside of the door listening to anyone's presence. It didn't sit right with the girl that she and Stiles couldn't do anything to help, there was a reason she had come here tonight, and although she may be terrified on what could happen to them all, she still wanted to help, and would do if she was given the chance. She hated Matt for slashing the back of Derek's neck, causing her paralysis also, if he didn't do so, she wouldn't be stuck in this room, listening out for any danger.

"We need to get out of there." Stiles agreed, not wanting to sit in this room and wait for Scott to come back for them, either, but the way that this was headed, they didn't exactly have a choice in the matter. Lexi grunted as she tried to get her legs to work, but in response to that, the girl slipped off of her chair and onto the ground, the back of her head hitting the metal chair in response as Stiles cringed at the sight, "You okay?" He asked, he himself, trying to get down off of the chair, but since he was scratched after Derek and Lexi had begun to feel the effects before him, the girl was beginning to feel her muscles quicker than he was, and he hated that he couldn't do anything, not even get off of the chair..

But once Lexi was on the ground, her head leaning against the back of her chair, she sighed, looking up at Stiles whom had just begun to feel his neck muscles, and he could hold his head up slightly more than before. The feeling that the two of them were useless, flowing through them, since most of their friends had abilities that helped them fight, and they couldn't exactly hold up their own with a werewolf.

But in reality, they were far from useless, and they would soon figure that out..
