LEXI FELT LIKE SHE was keeping a secret from everyone she knew, about what she was going through and what she had been feeling since Peter had bitten her and Lydia. Her twin sister hadn't been having any symptoms or new abilities since she was bitten, that she knew of, so what made Lexi so different? Was she not Lydia's real sister? Did she have different genes? They were the questions plaguing her mind since she started bleeding black goo from her nose and sometimes coughing it up when she wasn't feeling well. She didn't know why this was happening to her, she gathered that she was rejecting the bite slowly, and that she was going to die; she couldn't put her friends and family through that, she couldn't let them know, it would be too much.. So she kept it a secret, and as everyday went by, it got worse, and the girl knew that she had to open up to Scott or Stiles soon, but for right now, she was scared, and didn't want them to look at her any differently, so she kept it to herself, planning to tell the two boys at the right moment in time..

The girl stood next to Lydia as she picked off her nail varnish, Scott and Allison on the climbing wall as it wasn't their turn yet, it was pretty boring, waiting around, and Lexi didn't exactly know what else to do. That, and she felt incredibly uneasy, like something was going to happen, and she didn't like the feeling, she wanted to bury it down and push it away so she didn't have to feel it anymore - it was like a feeling of dread, and it made her feel physically sick. She moved away from Lydia and sat on the floor, trying to take slow breaths to calm herself down, and Stiles noticed, instantly rushing over to the girl to ensure she was okay. "What's wrong?" Stiles asked her, crouching in front of the girl sitting cross legged on the ground.

Lexi looked up at him and tried to plant a fake smile on her face, one that he saw through in an instant, "Just not feeling well, I've got a headache." She lied, another thing that Stiles could see straight through. He had studied this girl for years, watching her, he knew when she was lying, and this was one of them times.

Stiles had also noticed that Lexi had been acting strange since the bite from Peter, and even though the girl said that nothing has happened to her, he just couldn't believe her, not with the way she had been acting. However, when a small cripple of black blood trickled out of her nose, his eyes widened, "You're not okay, what's wrong?" He asked again, the girl quickly wiping away the blood with the back of her hand, rubbing it into her leggings to hide it. "Lexi, that's.." Stiles pointed out, a look of fear on his face that the girl he loved was rejecting the bite from Peter.

"No. No it's not." Lexi instantly assured him, shaking her head as she took his hands in her own, "I've been bleeding for a while now, I think that if I was rejecting the bite I would be dead by now, right?" She asked, trying to convince herself more than him.

Stiles looked shocked at her words, "You've been bleeding for a while and you didn't say anything?" He asked, now more concerned than anything else; he couldn't believe that she would hide something like that from him and Scott.

Lexi shrugged, feeling awful once she saw the look of betrayal on Stiles' face, "I didn't want to worry anyone." She admitted, looking down at their hands which were intwined, the girl stroking circles on the back of his as it gave her a distraction from her worried thoughts.

Stiles shook his head, "I worry about you every second of the day, anyway, Lex. You should have told us, we could've taken you to Deaton ages ago to figure out what this is.." He explained to the girl, who sighed at his words, knowing he was right.

"I know. I'm sorry, I just, I've had this feeling in my stomach, like something's telling me that something bad is gonna happen, and it's scary." Lexi admitted, finally looking up at him to see that he was already looking down at her in worry, a look like she was going to die, and this was the exact reason she didn't tell him. "This is exactly why I didn't tell you, Stiles. I can already see the gears turning in your head trying to figure out a way to help me." She spoke up, as Stiles furrowed his brows in confusion.

"Why wouldn't I?" He asked.

Lexi sighed, "It's not that I don't want that, I just don't want you to worry so much about me. I'll tell you everything once were out of school, but I want you to promise me you won't stress out about this." She told Stiles, not wanting him to become obsessed with trying to figure out a way to save her, when he didn't answer, she pushed for an answer, "Stiles, please?" Lexi asked, looking up at him with her pleading eyes that he couldn't exactly say no to, not when she looked like that.

"Okay." Stiles eventually told her, making a promise he knew he couldn't keep, but he couldn't stand to see that look on her face, the girl deserved the world, and the fact that this was happening to her just made him angry.

The two teenagers didn't even see Scott fall to the ground after Allison pushed him off of the wall, before Coach called Stiles and Erica over to the wall, the boy not wanting to leave Lexi, but the girl pushing him away gently and assuring him that she was alright. She watched him go, the boy glancing back at her every few seconds to make sure that she was alright, but when he saw that Lydia was now sitting with her, he felt he could relax a little.
Stiles had climbed up and down the wall before Erica even made it halfway, and Lexi finally looked up at realised why she was feeling dread in her stomach. Erica. She started hyperventilating, as Lexi pushed herself up off of the floor and made her way over to the girl, "Coach, she's epileptic. Maybe she should come down." Lexi suggested, looking up at Erica in worry as she shook on the wall, trying her hardest to keep her hold on.

Coach's eyes widened at the girls words, "Why does nobody tell me this stuff? Epileptic? Erica, you're fine. Just kick off from the wall!" He called out to the blonde girl gripping onto the rock wall. "There's a mat to catch you." He said, pointing to the mat.

The second the girl reached the floor, Lexi reached out to help her steady herself, unclipping the girls harness as she shook like a leaf. "You okay?" The red head asked, Erica nodding as she tried to keep the tears at bay.

It was then did the class start laughing and Erica ran off back to the locker rooms to cry, Lexi watching her go with a sad look on her face and slight annoyance that everyone bullied the girl so much, when she was such a lovely girl. Luckily, Lexi had gotten out of having to climb the wall, her headache getting worse as the minutes went by, but as she was standing by the locker, ready to get back into her normal clothing, she felt the dread in her stomach yet again. And for some reason, she knew what was going to happen. "Allison, get Scott!" Lexi quickly told Allison, the girl looking at Lexi in confusion but rushing to get Scott anyway.
Lexi ran back to the gym, where she saw Erica climbing the rock wall with no equipment on, her hands looking like they were going to slip, just as Scott came running in with inhumane speed, rushing past Lexi and catching Erica just before she hit the ground. "Put her on her side, Scott." Lexi instructed Scott, rushing over to help hold Erica in place as she had her seizure.

"How did you know?" Allison asked her friend, as Lexi held Erica's hand as the girl went through her pain, crying out. She felt the sadness radiate from Erica, the embarrassment, and she couldn't help her, it sucked.

Lexi sighed, looking up at Scott, Stiles and Allison, who were all looking at her expectantly, waiting for her to tell them all how she knew Erica was even in here in the first place. "There's something I need to tell you guys."

In an empty classroom within the school, Stiles, Scott and Allison stood in front of a pacing Lexi, who didn't know how to start with an explanation of what was happening to her; she didn't think that she ever would have to explain it to them as she thought it was nothing, but since her instincts had screamed at her to go and find Erica, feeling the symptoms of a fit come on, she knew now, that it wasn't nothing.. She just didn't want them to look at her like she was crazy, that was the last thing she wanted.
"After I was bitten, nothing happened, until something did, something small." Lexi began to explain, still pacing in front of them as they all watched her intently, "A few days after, the night Lydia went missing, is when I started bleeding this weird black goo." She continued, as Scott's face turned to worry in an instant, knowing that this was the body's way of rejecting the bite.

"But you're still here. If your body rejected the bite, you should be dead right now, it happens within hours." Scott informed Lexi, having been told my Deaton and Derek what happens if the bite gets rejected by the body, just after Lexi and Lydia had been bitten, he asked them both, wanting to find out more about the two girls and how he could help them.

Lexi nodded, sighing, "But that's not it. I've been feeling weird, like.. Emotions, but not my own, if that makes sense." She spoke up again, looking towards Scott this time for an answer, because that's all she wanted, answers.

"That makes sense." Scott reassured her, knowing all what it was like to feel someone else's emotions, "But none of this makes sense, how come you haven't shifted, if the bite didn't kill you? How come Lydia is still normal?" He asked, not knowing that the word 'normal' would make Lexi flinch like that, "I'm sorry, that's not what I meant." The boy added, knowing that he had upset her slightly.

Lexi shook her head, indicating that he was fine, "I feel someone radiating from Jackson, I felt it from Isaac, I felt it from Erica.." Lexi explained, stopping with her pacing and now standing in front of her friends with a sad look on her face, "Would Deaton know what's wrong with me?" She asked Scott, who couldn't exactly answer that - Deaton was good with this stuff, he knew that now, but what's happening to Lexi, wasn't something that he had seen before, he didn't want to get her hopes up by telling her he knew what was happening to her.

"Yeah, he's Deaton. Of course he will." Stiles spoke up before Scott could say anything that could possibly upset Lexi, he walked up to her and stopped her from pacing, placing both of his hands on her shoulders as she looked up at him, "We'll figure this out, Lex, don't worry about it. Deaton will be able to find out what's happening to you, won't he, Scott?" He then asked his best friend, both Stiles and Lexi turning to face him with expectant looks on their faces that Scott just couldn't say no to.

"Yeah, yeah he will." Scott told them, smiling.
But the truth was, he didn't know.
