LEXI SPENT THE REST of the school day worrying about a boy she didn't even know, wondering if he was okay in his cell at the sheriffs department, and hoping that he wasn't going to be blamed for murdering his father. Why was she worrying so much? She didn't know; she just had this weird feeling that Isaac was in danger, and she felt like she could feel what he was feeling, and he was scared. She felt awful for the boy, and hoped that Stiles and Scott had a plan to get him out of there safely. Not only did she feel this way about Isaac Lahey, who she had barely spoken one word too, but Stiles had also been given a detention, meaning that the girl hadn't been able to talk to him all day, so the next person she would try and corner, was Scott. She spent a while looking for the boy, but eventually found him rushing through the hallway, looking panicked and like he was rushing to get somewhere.
"Scott!" Lexi called out, gaining the boys attention as he turned to face her, "Do you know when Stiles is getting out?" She asked him, hoping that he could give her an answer.

However, Scott shook his head at his new friend, "He's got detention for an hour after school. Harris will probably hold him in for longer, though. You know him." He explained to the ginger girl, who sighed at his words, wanting to talk with Stiles as she hadn't been able too all day. "I need to find Derek, get Isaac out of that jail cell before tonight." He told the girl, as she followed him down the hallway.

"Because Derek bit him, right?" Lexi asked quietly, so that no one around them could hear what they were talking about. Scott looked confused at first, then realised that Stiles must have told her what was going on as soon as he could. The boy liked that Lexi could keep a secret, and hadn't gone running off to Argent with all of their secrets about Scott and Derek; he knew it was because she liked Stiles, but he still appreciated it no matter what.

Scott nodded at her question, "If he shifts whilst he's in his cell, everyone will find out and the secret will be out. We gotta find a way to get him out." He informed her, Lexi trying to think of a solution but coming up short - this wasn't a simple problem they were having. "I gotta go, Stiles usually leaves his jeep unlocked so you could wait there until he gets out." Scott suggested.

Lexi shook her head with a slight smile on her face, "Of course he does, thanks, Scott." She thanked the boy, watching as he then ran off to his bike to ride to Derek. The girl watched him go, before walking towards the familiar blue jeep that was Stiles' pride and joy; she headed to the passenger seat, smiling to herself yet again when the door opened up, having not been locked, before climbing in, embracing the smell of Stiles. The car was messy, but Lexi didn't actually care about how it looked; if she had it her way, her room would be like this, but with her mom constantly nagging her about cleaning up after herself, she had to. She wished she could be as free as Stiles was, his dad let him get away with practically everything, Lexi would be grounded for life if she even did one of the things Stiles had told her he had done.
She sat in the car for a while, scrolling through her phone and reading what was going on in the news, when she finally looked up and noticed that the sun had started to go down, meaning that Stiles had been in detention way longer than he should have been.

Lexi didn't have to wait much longer, when she finally saw a buzz cut head bob out of the school, his eyes glued onto his phone as he text back people he had ignored during detention. She had to hold in her laughter when Stiles climbed into the car without even noticing her, still typing away on his phone, when Lexi decided to finally speak up, "Stiles." She spoke, gaining his attention as he flung his phone behind him into the back seats and squealing like a little girl as he looked over at Lexi wide eyed.

"Lexi?" Stiles gasped, placing a hand on his heart as he felt like he was going to have a heart attack from the fright he just experienced. "How long have you been here? How did you get in my car?" He asked, surprised that the girl was even here in the first place.

Lexi shrugged at him, like this was no big deal, "Scott told me you normally kept your car unlocked, so I thought I'd wait for you to come out of detention." She informed him, Stiles nodding in understanding, before his eyes widened yet again.

"You waited this whole time?" Stiles asked, in shock that this girl would wait for hours for him to get out of detention, especially just sitting in his car, he can't imagine how boring that must have been for her.

Lexi squinted her eyes in confusion, "What else was I supposed to do?" She asked in all seriousness; ever since she and Stiles had started talking, she felt slightly lost without him, not even Lydia could fill the hole. Lexi's sister was in her own little bubble since she had been lost in the woods for a few days, she wasn't exactly talking to anyone, not even her sister, and Lexi didn't know exactly how to help her. Neither of the sisters had shifted into a werewolf, that was clear, but Lexi didn't know if something was happening to Lydia, like it was with her. She was too afraid to ask her sister in case she thought the girl was crazy, so she was stuck in a loop, keeping the fact that she was bleeding black blood to herself, afraid that she would be called crazy and not taken seriously.

It was then, did Stiles' eyes soften, something Allison had told him just a few seconds ago and the picture she had sent him. "I think the Argent's are looking into you and Lydia." He told the girl, who slouched in defeat at his words.

"How do you know that?" Lexi asked, now fearing for her sister who was back home, she hoped.

"I was just talking to Allison when I got out of detention. The hunters were talking about you two and trying to figure out if you two were werewolves." Stiles informed her, running a hand over his head in stress; he didn't know what he would do if Lexi or her sister got hurt. Lexi was practically his life, he lived and breathed for her, and he may not be a werewolf, but he wasn't going to let the hunters hurt her, over her dead body.

"But we're not. Nothing's happened to us." Lexi told Stiles, leaning back in the passenger seat, "At least, I haven't.. I don't know about Lydia." She added, having not spoken to her sister much since they had both been bitten by Peter.

Stiles looked at the girl suspiciously, noticing that she looked like she was lying, she was hiding something. The way she looked away the second she answered him and avoided his eye line that second onwards, he knew something was up, but the fear in her eyes had stopped him from saying anything about the matter - the last thing he wanted to do was make her uncomfortable, but he also knew that he had to make a mental note to talk to Scott about it, maybe he'll know what's going on. "We'll figure it all out tomorrow, okay?" He reassured her, the girl showing a small smile in response, but not enough to make Stiles happy, "We gotta go and get Isaac out of there, the Argent's are going for him." He then said, Lexi immediately nodding at his words.
She didn't know Isaac, she had only seen him in the hallways and had maybe spoken a few words to him, but she felt a need to save the boy and make sure he was safe, yet she had no idea why. It was like he was almost family to her, and she could sense that something was wrong with him. Nothing made sense. Lexi was afraid to tell Stiles, what if he called her crazy and didn't want to talk to her anymore? That would break her heart and she just couldn't do it. She couldn't be known as the school nut job.

Stiles looked at her from the side, hating that she had that look on her face, she looked like she was clearly hiding something from him, something serious. He liked to think that all of these years of being obsessed with the girl, he had learnt to read her facial expressions and know what she was thinking. He also knew that the girl didn't like being pushed to answer things she didn't want to, so he never questioned her on the fact that she was hiding something from him, something important.
The car journey didn't feel long at all, the two teenagers sitting in comfortable silence as Stiles drove to the police station where Isaac was being held. The full moon was slowly approaching, and they didn't have much time left to get to the new werewolf. Just as they pulled up, Lexi gasped in fear as she suddenly saw Derek Hale standing next to her window, the man clearly having been waiting for the two teenagers to finally show up after Scott had explained to him that they were coming to help and save Isaac from the hunters that were trying to kill him. "Jesus, Derek." Stiles also gasped, having been scared by the man's sudden appearance.

Derek rolled his eyes at the two teens, Lexi rolling down her window so that they could talk to the man, "What stupid plan have you thought of, now?" Derek asked Stiles, the boy instantly showing offence at the man's words as he believed his plans were great.

"My plans are great, thankyou very much." Stiles answered him, Lexi having to hold in her laughter at Derek's glare directed at the boy. Stiles knew that there was no arguing with Derek, he sighed, leaning back in his chair, "Okay, so, the keys to every cell are in a protected lock box in my fathers office. The problem is getting past the front desk." Stiles informed Derek, Lexi having already heard of his plan just before they left the school, the girl had been impressed immediately at the fact he had figured out a plan so quickly.

"I'll distract her." Derek told the two of them, about to walk away to the woman at the front desk, only for Stiles to reach over to Derek and hold him back before he got the chance to walk away from them without figuring something out first.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. You?" Stiles asked in disbelief, knowing that he wouldn't be able to distract the cop in there - he looked just like a common criminal, he would probably get arrested on the spot. Lexi's eyes widened as he leaned over her and grabbed Derek's arm to stop him from moving, the girl now slightly scared for his life as Derek was a scary man. "You're not going on there." He said, not wanting him to ruin their plan.

When Derek gave Stiles a death glare that freaked Lexi out a little, the girl instantly grabbed Stiles' hand and pulled it away from the werewolf, sensing Derek's discomfort and sudden anger. "He's taking his hand off." Lexi told Derek, now holding the boys arm down so he didn't think of doing something so stupid again.

"I was exonerated." Derek told Stiles, ignoring the fact he just touched him.

"You're still a person of interest." Stiles tried to reason, not knowing why Derek was acting so stupidly.

"An innocent person." Derek corrected.

Lexi couldn't help but put her piece into this debate, "I mean, if they know he's innocent and they had to let him go, surely they'll be okay with him going in there?" She spoke up, Derek nodding his head towards the girl as he silently told Stiles to listen to his little girlfriend as she had way more sense than he did.

Stiles rolled his eyes, "Okay. Fine, what's your plan?" He asked Derek, knowing that he couldn't say no to Lexi, and if she believed that Derek could distract the cop, then he wasn't going to deny it. The girl was mostly, always right.

"To distract her." Derek told Stiles, like he was the most idiotic kid in the world. What did he think he was going to do?

"Uh-huh. How?" Stiles asked, as Lexi sighed, knowing that they were going to be sat here arguing about Derek distracting the woman longer than they were going to be inside and actually saving Isaac from the hunter on his way to kill him. "By punching her in the face?" He asked, Lexi not knowing if he was joking or being serious. She knew for a fact that if she didn't know who Derek was and he came to talk to her, she would definitely be distracted..

Derek laughed sarcastically, not finding Stiles funny in the slightest, "By talking to her." He told the boy, who still didn't believe him.

Lexi just had to break the two of them up with their bickering, if they carried on like this, they wouldn't be saving Isaac at all tonight. "Guys, can we just go in? Isaac's running out of time." She spoke up, looking towards Stiles with a pleading look to get the boy to just believe that Derek can do this thing right. How could he mess up talking to someone?

"Fine. All right. Let's go." Stiles sighed, yet again, not wanting to say no to the girl he liked, so he climbed out of the car, staying close to her as they hid in the shadows whilst Derek walked into the station. "Whatever happens, stay close to me." The boy whispered to Lexi, as their arms pressed up against each other, as they hid in the dark to be unseen, waiting for their signal.

Lexi simply nodded at his words, feeling butterflies in her stomach at his words and finding it really sweet that he cared so much about her. They finally saw Derek's signal, his thumbs going up behind his back to signal to the kids that they could enter without being seen, and that's when they set off. Lexi kept her grip on Stiles' arm as he guided her into the police station, having knowing his way around at the girl actually having never been here before. Why would she? She had never been in trouble before, but she was sure that she would be after they were caught.. They made it to Stiles' dads office in no time, Lexi keeping guard as Stiles entered the code on the key box to get the cell keys out. The girl went to squeal at the man suddenly appearing in front of her, just like Derek had done a few minutes before, but just before a sound could escape her mouth, he had placed his hand over her mouth, only a muffled sound coming out when she tried to get Stiles' attention. The hunter grabbed Lexi by the shoulders, keeping her close as he spun her around, the keys that Stiles was looking for in his hands making a jingling sound, the boy finally noticing that something wasn't right.

When Stiles turned around, his stomach dropped at the sight of Lexi being held by the hunter, his dads keys in the man's hands which were resting on the girls shoulders. The hunter pulled a face, warning Stiles not to come any closer as he pulled the teenager out of the room, dragging her down the hallway to the best of his ability with an arrow sticking through his leg, but even with that going down, Lexi's strength didn't meet his, and she couldn't get out of his hold. But, just as she was dragged into the holding cells, the fire alarm went off, allowing the girl just a few seconds of distraction so she could get out of his hold.
Lexi grunted as she threw her head back into the unknown man, who yelled out in pain as he felt the blood trickle down his face and onto his mouth. The girl didn't waste any time rushing to Stiles who pushed her behind him as they both watched with wide eyes as the hunter faced Isaac. It was then, did they notice the werewolf had pulled the door off of the hinge and had began attacking the hunter who couldn't even do much due to his injuries, so just like that, Isaac had won, as Lexi cowered into Stiles side in the corner of the room at the sight of the werewolf, the girl having not seen a werewolf since Peter Hale had bit her and Lydia.

Stiles could feel her shaking, and it made his heart tear in two at the sight of tears streaming down the girls face, the sight looking like she was having some kind of panic attack, so he held her close, stroking her to try and calm her down as he rocked her back and fourth. But just as he looked up, he saw Isaac growling down at them both, slowly walking towards them both, and Stiles didn't even think twice before shielding his body over the girls, keeping her safe. But they didn't feel the impact from Isaac, because a huge roar had come from Derek, sending Isaac cowering back into the corner and shifting back into human form.
"H-How did you do that?" Lexi asked Derek, having weirdly calmed down at the sound of his roar echoing throughout the room.

"I'm the alpha."
