LEXI DIDN'T WANT TO take no for an answer, and that's why she currently sat in the back of Stiles' jeep with Scott, Stiles and Allison, all ready to look for Lydia, who had been missing since she had climbed out of the hospital window. After getting into some jeans and trainers from her bag that her mom had packed her, Scott had helped her down the window and onto the ground by Stiles' jeep, the other boy meeting them down there. All Allison and Scott could talk about was how they were secretly dating, and as much as Lexi loved the both of them, that didn't matter right now - what did matter, was finding her sister, and that's it. When she had spoke up about the fact her father knew about Lydia and Lexi's bites, the girl couldn't help but furrow her brows in confusion. "Do they want to kill me?" Lexi asked Allison, as Stiles looked equally as freaked out about that fact.

Allison shook her head, climbing into the back of the car with Lexi, "They're stationed outside of your room, they probably didn't notice you've climbed out of the window with Scott." She said, having Scott told her about how he helped Lexi out of the hospital as she wanted to help find her sister. "I saw my dad and three others guys leave my house in two SUV's, so I know they're looking for Lydia. We have to find her, now." She told the others, ushering for Stiles to start the car and set off.

They pulled out of the lot, Stiles driving as fast as his car would let him as they drove down the highway, "Alright, but if Lydia's turning, would they actually kill her?" Stiles asked Allison.

"I don't know. They won't tell me anything, okay? All they say is, 'we'll talk after Kate's funeral when the others get here'." The hunter explained, causing everyone to glance over at her in confusion.

"Who are the others?" Lexi asked, scared for her sisters life; she just wanted to call the cops, but she knew that that wouldn't do anything, as the hunters knew more than the cops all combined.

"They won't tell me that, either." Allison told her, feeling awful that she couldn't be more help for Lydia, who was currently lost in the woods all alone without anyone by her side.

"Scott, are we going the right way?" Stiles asked, as Scott was leaning out of his window to get Lydia's scent, from the hospital gown that Stiles had stolen from her hospital room. It was slightly hard when he had Lydia's twin in the car with him, but he was trying his hardest to smell where the girl was headed.

"Take the next right!" Scott called to Stiles, as Lexi couldn't help but find humour in what he was currently doing, as much as the situation at hand right now was serious and her sister could be in some serious trouble, Scott sniffing out of the window like an actual guard dog had some humour to it, and she sniggered at the thought, before quickly regaining herself, having to remind herself that her sister was missing. Her smile quickly faded, and the girls facial expression was quickly replaced with worry, the thought that Lydia could be in trouble plaguing her mind - she didn't know what she would do without her twin sister, she was her other half. She couldn't live without her..

Lexi still hated the woods, and anything to do with the cold and wet she just couldn't stand, and the fact she didn't have a coat to warm her up, just made it teen times worse, and she didn't understand why Lydia would choose to run away from here instead of a warm building or something. Stiles saw that she was shivering, and instantly shrugged his coat off for the girl to have - he walked behind her and placed the coat over her shoulders, noticing the girl was frozen. Lexi smiled appreciatively at Stiles, pushing her arms through his coat, that smelled just like him, and took a deep breath in at the familiar smell that gave her comfort. Stiles hadn't noticed this, as he had started walking forwards again, but Allison had, and she smirked at the sight, knowing just how much Lexi liked Stiles. However, before she could point it out and embarrass the girl, they all saw where Scott was leading them to - and it was the Hale house.

Chills went through Lexi's body when she realised they had stopped in front of this burnt down house, where Peter Hale had been killed by Derek Hale, the new alpha. Did this mean Lydia had shifted, and she hadn't? They had both been bitten at the exact same time, so why hadn't anything happened to Lexi yet? Nothing made sense to her. They had the exact same blood, they were twins after all, so why had Lydia taken this bite differently than Lexi had - unknown to all of them, the only person with those answers, was Peter, and he was now dead, unable to tell them.
"This is where the scent leads." Scott said, also looking at the burnt down house with an eerie feeling in his stomach. He hoped that Lydia hadn't shifted, as it would mean the hunters would then be after her, too, not only that, but Lexi and Lydia seemed to be taking to the bite differently, and it just made it that much harder to find out what was happening to Lydia right now.

Stiles was the first to walk onwards, with Lexi close behind him, holding his arm for support as she felt the exhaustion finally take its play - she still hadn't recovered fully from Peter's bite, and she was still in a lot of pain when she walked. If it wasn't for Stiles keeping her upright, she wouldn't even be able to walk right now - he didn't even think she should have come tonight, he wanted her to stay in bed and recover, but when Lexi wanted to do something, no one could stop her from doing it. "Alright, but has Lydia ever been here?" Stiles asked Lexi.

Lexi shook her head, "No. I haven't even been here before." She informed the boy, "She doesn't even know this place exists." She added, looking at the house nervously. What did this mean?

"Maybe she came here on instinct, like she was looking for Derek." Allison suggested, as Lexi turned around to add in what she thought.

"If Lydia came here looking for Derek, the new alpha, then why don't I feel anything? Surely I should be with her right now?" Lexi asked Scott, hoping that he would have some answers as to why she wasn't having the same effect as Lydia was with the bite.

"I don't know." Scott told her truthfully, feeling awful that he couldn't help Lexi any more than he already had. The two girls had both taken the alpha bite completely different to how he had taken it, and none of it made sense to him. He had shifted within one day of being bit, but these two girls had been asleep in the hospital for a lot longer than that, which is the complete opposite of what he went through.

"None of this makes sense." Lexi muttered, annoyed at herself for not being able to find her sister; she felt like she had failed her, and she hated it. She felt an arm drape around her shoulder, and she looked up to see Stiles, trying to comfort her, knowing just how much she cared about Lydia and wanted to find her - he hated that he couldn't do much to help, but he would stay out here all night if it meant getting Lydia back. Lexi smiled appreciatively at Stiles, and she wrapped her own arm around his waist as the two walked up to the house, wanting to find some clues on wether Lydia had even been here yet, Allison and Scott followed closely behind.

Suddenly, Stiles held Lexi back, stopping her from walking any further, pointing down at the ground at a trip wire, Lexi crouched down besides him to get a better look. "Hey guys, look at this." He said, holding the wife between his fingers, getting Allison and Scott's attention, "I think it's a tripwire." He said, as Allison came over to get a good look at it.

"It is a tripwire, Stiles." Lexi pointed out, "Maybe you shouldn't pull it." She said, just as Stiles pulled the wire up, but nothing had happened, "Oh. Nothing happened." She spoke up, looking at the wire confusingly.

"Stiles." They heard Scott say from behind them.

"Yeah, buddy.. Oh." Stiles said, finally looking around and seeing that Scott was hanging upside down from the trip wire being pulled, he cringed, knowing now that he should have listened to Lexi and not touched the wife on the floor.

"Next time you see a tripwire, don't trip it." Scott told his best friend, as Lexi had to place her hand over her mouth to keep from laughing at the fact he was hanging upside down in the air - Allison had to do the same, also finding it quite funny. Just as they made their way towards him to get him back down, Scott held his hand out to stop them from coming any closer, "Wait, wait, wait, wait." He said, as they all stopped in confusion, "Someone's coming, hide." He told them all, having heard footsteps from the distance behind them all.

"What if it's Lydia?" Lexi whispered, trying to pull on Stiles hold as he tried pulling her behind cover with him and Allison.

"Then we'll see. But let's hide just in case." Stiles whispered back, as he managed to get her behind a tree and down onto the ground, where she eventually stayed put, especially when she saw that it was Allison's dad and not Lydia.

Scott said to the man that he was looking for his friend, only for Argent to tut, "That's right. Lydia's in your group now, isn't she? Along with her twin.. Lexi, is it? Part of your clique? Is that the word you use?" He asked, as Stiles held a tight grip on the girl, afraid that the hunters would hurt her if they saw her. "Or is there another way to put it? Part of your pack?" Argent asked, taunting Scott as he was tied up in the air in front of him.

"A clique sounds about right to me." Scott answered, holding a poker face at the words of Argent talking about Lexi, who was only a few metres away from him, him, hiding behind a tree with his daughter and Allison.

"I hope so. 'Cause I know the two girls are friends with Allison, and one special circumstance, such as yourself.. One, I can handle. Not three." Argent told Scott, as Lexi had to hold her breath to stay calm, gripping onto Stiles' arms as he held her close. She was completely freaked out about the fact this man was talking about killing herself and Lydia, surely he wouldn't be able to get away with that? That's murder.. "Scott, do you know where Lexi is? You're aware she also disappeared tonight, right?" He carried on, as Scott kept his mouth shut at his question, "I would hate if anyone got hurt tonight because you were covering for these two girls, Scott. Their deaths would be on you." Argent told the boy, who still kept his mouth shut, not daring to give up his friends' location. Argent sighed, "Do you know what a hemicorporectomy is?" He asked.

"I have a feeling I don't want to." Scott said.

"A medical term for amputating somebody at the waist. Cutting them in half; takes a tremendous amount of strength to cut through tissue and bone like that. Let's hope a demonstration never becomes necessary." He told Scott, as Lexi shivered at the thought of being cut in half, and that was when he and his hunters finally left, now searching for the two red headed girls.

"Your dad's gonna cut me in half." Lexi spoke up, her eyes full of fear as she watched them go.
They needed to find Lydia.

"I can't believe how reckless you were, Lex!" Lexi's mom shouted at her once she had gotten back to the hospital and back to her room. When she had arrived, there were cops everywhere, and her mom and dad were actually standing in the same room as each other, both equally as worried at the fact both of their children were missing. Lexi didn't give her dad the time of day when she came back, instead, heading straight to hug her mother, who welcomed her in straight away, just before she started her rant. "Not only had Lydia gone, but you, too! Did you even think about how that would make me and your father feel?" She carried on, as Lexi looked at the ground in guilt.

"I just wanted to find Lydia, mom. She's all alone out there." Lexi admitted, hating how vulnerable she currently was, but she just couldn't stop the tears that flowed from her eyes and down her cheeks. They had spent all night searching for Lydia, and not one piece of clue was found on where she could be or what she could be doing; Lexi felt completely useless, she just wanted to find her twin and find out if she was okay.

"I know, baby. But you have to let the police do their jobs. They will find her, okay?" Natalie told her daughter, pulling her in for a tight hug again, keeping her close. She couldn't handle the fact that one of her daughters had gone missing, and when Lexi had also disappeared, she nearly went over the edge; she was going to make sure she was in her sight twenty-four seven, now.

"I'm sorry, mom." Lexi said, now feeling awful that she had made her mom worry so much, she hadn't thought about the woman when she left the hospital with Scott and Stiles, all she could think about, was finding her sister, and now that she knew how her mom was feeling, she couldn't feel more bad about the situation.

"Just.. Don't do it again. Please." Natalie begged, kissing her daughter on the head as she guided her towards her hospital room, "Now, go and take a shower, you smell like soil." She said, as she gently pushed her daughter towards the bathroom which was in the hospital room - she didn't give Lexi a chance to protest as she gave her a towel and shut the door after her, leaving Lexi alone.

Lexi sighed as she looked at the door to the bathroom, knowing that she had no choice but to shower and get back into bed - she didn't want to go against her mother again, and she knew that going back out there would be incredibly dangerous, considering that all of the hunters knew her face and knew that they should kill her, just like Argent had told Scott when he didn't know she was listening in. But what she couldn't get past, was the fact that Lydia was out there in the freezing cold, all alone, with a group of hunters basically hunting her down to kill her, and she didn't know anything. She regretted not telling her about the supernatural sooner, as the girl was probably scared and confused, not knowing what was going on with herself. She felt awful.
Lexi stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself, barely recognising the person looking back at her. The Lexi she used to be wouldn't be lying to her family, to her twin sister - she would have told Lydia about Scott and Allison the second she found out, and she wouldn't have hesitated to do so. Now, she was keeping Scott's secret, and because of that, Lydia had been hurt; it was all her fault.

The girl stopped her thoughts when she saw something drip out of her nose, it looked like a sort of black goo trickling down from her nose and onto her lip. She wiped it with her hand, but when she did so, only more came down, and it felt like she had a fountain of black goo coming out of her nose. Not long after that, she felt the same sensation around her ears, and the girl turned her head, only to see the same effect on both of her ears, the same black gooey substance dripping out of her ears and down her neck, staining the white shirt she had on with the substance. What was even stranger, was that she felt completely fine, she didn't have a headache or anything, so she couldn't understand why this was happening to her. She yanked off her shirt and threw it to the ground, the black substance now dripping down her body and onto her jeans, until she had pulled them off, too, now completely naked standing in front of the mirror. Lexi didn't know what the feeling was, or why she was feeling it, but she just had a feeling deep inside that something was wrong.. But not with herself.. Someone else.
